Maybelline Superstay 24 Foundation

It's undoubtedly one of my favorite foundations, and I have a decent collection of them! It's incredibly full coverage, a lot more than Revlon Colorstay and Rimmel 24 hour foundation. You need like half a pump for the entire face. This makes it cost effective too (not that it's not as is!). The days when I'm not going for as heavy coverage, I use a very light pump, though it can get a tad heavy; which actually brings me to my next point, and that's the heaviness. It's a full coverage foundation after all that's made to last, so it does feel heavier than a sheer foundation like Bourjois Healthy Serum. It doesn't leave a tacky feel like Rimmel 24 does nor does it feel heavy. Just gives a lovely natural demi-matte finish. Longevity is really good, but absolutely not for 24 hours as claimed. It does transfer, and starts breaking up a little around lips and nose (like most of my foundations) after a few hours of wear, but then, I'd mixed it with a drop of oil so I can't say for sure if the foundation alone is to blame. It's basically a proper dupe for Estee Lauder Doublewear. It's the closest thing you'll get. You cannot miss this foundation if you're into full coverage makeup. Oh and I got it for like £5.50 so that was a steal!

Is a good product & easy to apply

The one with my eyes open is without a Snapchat filter and the closed eye one is with a skin smoother filter, genuinely is my favourite ever foundation! And I know everyone has there own favourite, but honestly I have used this for so long and absolutely love it!! I always try new foundations every so often just so I can see if there’s any others incase but non compare to this one at all! I have A-topic Eczema and my skin on my face can be the sorest and hardest to cover as you can imagine but this covers up my redness completely! And I’m not exaggerating it is so full coverage it’s ridiculous and completely feels like skin it’s not thick and not cakey, it goes on so smooth and concealer and contour go on so smooth on top! So yes I completely recommend this to anyone who may have redness or any blemishes they like to cover, this is for you 10000%

This foundation is very good. The product is definitely buildable coverage and lasts all day. By far one of the best drug store foundations on the market right now. The product blends very well and gives you a flawless and even look. But be careful! Too much of this product won’t blend out as well and will make the face look caked and thick. The reason for 4 stars is that the current colour I use does make me look a bit orange if I don’t blend it on my neck. The lighter colour from the range makes me look extremely pale and there is no in between. I guess it might be an idea to use both at some point and see if that helps. But again, I don’t think I should have to purchase two foundations in order to have the right share. Maybelline should definitely take note from L’Oréal they have an amazing range of colours. This foundation is not suitable for people with oily to combination skin. I can get a bit oily at times so I’ve started to use a matte moisturiser to control the oil production on my face and it seems to have done the trick. Nivea, if anyone is wondering. Before purchasing online I would recommend buying this in store first or at least testing the colours in store as the foundation oxadises and starts to look a bit darker than the initial application.

Fantastic quality, great colour match

Love the coverage, but colour is way too dark for me. I always use "21 nude beige" in Maybelline products like the cushion foundation they have, but for some reason the 10 Ivory one in this new range suits me and not the nude beige one. I'm so confused! I've never used a product with the word "ivory" in it or one below 200 (for most foundations I guess as most have this number system) so you know that my skin isn't THAT light (I'm light-medium, Rimmel 200 Revlon 240). Maybelline need to get their numbers and shades right ._. I had to spend extra money to buy the 10 Ivory one, but I guess now I can mix this with the 21 Nude Beige one in summer as summer where I live is super hot and sunny.

I'm a big fan of maybelline foundations. This one was their best but they stopped making it. It gives good coverage if needed but a natural looking finish and lasts all day.

Why they stopped making this product I will never know for the stupid gimmick of Super Stay 30hr alternative. I know no woman or man that wears their make up for 30hrs straight unless they’re sleeping with it on or being lab tested, either way not healthy. The 30hr Super Stay doesn’t even have smooth coverage and cracks, whereas this 24hr coverage is super smooth, flawless, glides on and powder finishes, so much softer, realistic finish. Maybelline if you’re listening, you made a very huge mistake jumping on the greed wagon for marketing to switch to the 30hr Stay Stay when you had a superb product here the 24hr. Why do companies do this to sacrifice the satisfaction of customers and the skin of customers defeats the object. I wish I can continue getting this product now will have to look elsewhere to another company that does even something near, Maybelline your 30hr Super Stay is a let down bring back 24hr please!!! I love this product 💖

Avevo già testato i prodotti Maybelline ma ancora non avevo testato questo fondotinta. Ero preoccupata perché ho la pelle grassa con acne e rossori, e mi preoccupava sia la coprenza che l'effetto lucido che io odio a causa della mia pelle. Appena applicato ho sentito davvero come una mousse, o come una crema idratante. Non è secco, è molto fluido e veramente basta una goccia per coprire tutto il viso. Non fa l'effetto maschera, rende il tutto molto molto naturale. Io purtroppo sono piena di acne, quindi a livello di coprenza, copre molto, ma non del tutto. Questo però non è a causa del fondotinta ma a causa della mia pelle. Nonostante ho la pelle grassa resta sul viso bene tutto il tempo, non fa nessun effetto lucido, non scivola. E' davvero un ottimo prodotto. Arriva ben confezionato e protetto con i suoi sigilli. Tanta quantità e poco utilizzo, questo vuol dire grande risparmio e duratura. Consiglio vivamente il prodotto. Io ho la pelle molto molto chiara, e ho preso il Nude.
