Your private bitcoin safe room

My partner and I purchased this to keep our crypto-currencies safe, as we were newbies venturing into the world of crypo-currencies and wanted to take every precaution to ensure our currencies were safe whilst learning. I get peace of mind knowing once disconnected, it was safe and we didn't have to worry about hacking whilst it was offline.

Great product and fast delivery. Slightly overpriced but Bitcoin is still a niche market so it's acceptable. It's layout remains me of mid 2000s/early 2010s flip phone. Nice surface and metal frame.

Fast sheeping

Seems to force you to use a terrible trading website called Shapeshift which only has 4 coins available to buy. Its also extremely awkward to set up. Only works on Windows. Linux doesn't detect it and I didn't even bother with the Android app as all the reviews say it simply doesn't work. Absolute piece of junk.

Worked really well straight out of the box. If there were problems, it was with NatWest who were not happy about transferring funds into BitCoin. Once this was sorted it was all very easy.

Does the job as is and has not disappointed. Even better with the new ShapeShift.

It's a very comfortable and stylish way for people to store their crypto currencies offline, but nothing special beyond that. I'm still waiting for more crypto currency options to store on this device and I would also like to see an app for it, that isn't just a web browser add-on.

It seems to work and the company that makes them is good at getting back to you with answers to any questions about the device.

Io mi ci trovo molto bene. L'ho comprato per non dover lasciare criptovalute su sistemi online, e soprattutto per avere indirizzi anonimi. Con questo wallet potete archiviare le crypto più comuni (btc, eth,...) così come tutte quelle di tipo ERC-20. Facile da usare (se si sa cosa è). Inoltre il supporto funziona benissimo per qualsiasi problema rispondono in giornata. Così come mi trovo bene con i servizi collegati di shapeshift.

More PROS: --the device is sturdy and robust; large enough that you won't forget it's in your pocket. --KeepKey has a larger display screen with a more readable font (as compared to trezor's smaller screen and little font that can be difficult to read). --KeepKey looks sharp. It has a sleek design; yet it's inconspicuous from the layman's point of view (resembles a new external hard drive). --simplicity of navigating the user interface makes it a great device for beginners; the multitude of features available makes it a great device for advanced users. CONS: --the KeepKey launcher extension should be included with KeepKey client app, so users only have one item to download. --BTC balance should also show the USD equivalent, so the present value of one's holdings is clear. --cannot remove old accounts from view. In my opinion, KeepKey is the best hardware wallet on the market to date. It has something for everyone. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one for a tech-challenged baby-boomer parent who wants to buy and hold, then secure and forget. Nor would I hesitate to buy one for a tech-savvy friend who holds several different alt-coins and trades them frequently. KeepKey is a steal at $99 and offers tremendous value at that price point. Get yours while you still can. You'll be happy you did!
