Easy to use,gives a clear cut

Great, cutter gets flat down against bed of track to cut flush. I have used it on steel track, it works but has pitted the cutter a bit. Used it on thin brass rod, works a treat. The cutters are nice to grip in the hand. Overall pleased with them so far. Definitely a plus addition to the toolbox, no fiddling about changing blades on a saw, no plugging in, pick it up, cut the track, move on to the next job. Ideal for the impatient modeller and not just for cutting track.

Buy the vertical cutters as then you can use them for track that is already fixed to a baseboard as well as for new track.
