I bought a couple of these water bottles due to the hot weather as the old one had had enough. A very wise choice. The bottle is durable and made from good quality materials. A very important thing is that it doesn't leak (I expected a trusted seal from SIS), so I'm very glad about this. It holds an amount which is enough for me and one session for hydration. Easy to carry and fits well into rucksack pocket and bicycle holder. Looks great and can see how much liquid is remaining. I haven't noticed any difference in taste due to plastic whether with water or fizzy drinks. Great for gym, cycling, walking/running, well anything really. Very pleased thanks guys.

The product functions effectively and meets its intended purpose quite well. However, one significant drawback is the rubber seal, which unfortunately does not perform as expected. This flaw allows water to leak through the seal, which can be problematic and may impact the overall usability of the product. Great bottle, used them for many years, leak proof , stand up to mountain biking over a considerable time.

I’ve purchased three of the Science in Sport SIS Yellow bottles, and they continue to impress me every time. The bright yellow colour not only looks fantastic but also makes the bottle incredibly easy to spot, whether it’s in the gym bag or attached to my bike—no more rummaging around or losing your bottle during a busy session. One of the standout features is the waterproof and leakproof design. Thanks to the secure, lockable valve, I never have to worry about any spills in my bag or car—these bottles keep every drop where it belongs, even during hectic cycling or gym workouts. The flexible yet durable plastic copes well with drops and daily use, so it’s built to last and still feels comfortable to squeeze for a quick drink. The ergonomic shape makes it super easy to grip, and its flexibility is perfect for sports and on-the-go hydration. The bottle also features a wide neck for easy filling and cleaning, plus clear measurement markings, which save time when mixing up energy powders or electrolytes. After trying many different brands, I can honestly say these bottles are some of the best. They’re reliable, flexible, and their yellow colour makes them stand out from the crowd—a great choice for anyone who values both function and style in a sports bottle.

This drink bottle is cheap (£5 at the time of writing and now reduced to £3.75), plastic and simple. Indeed, there is no capacity markings on the side of the bottle (800 ml) and the sports top is disappointingly rather stiff to open and close if using your fingers. Of course, using your teeth to open will in time destroy the mouthpiece, if not your teeth! I am hoping that this mouthpiece will loosen a little with use. I do like the indent two-thirds up which makes this easy to grip and from which to hold to drink. Water leaks from this if the sports cap is left up but otherwise, turn it upside down and I did not experience any leaks. Purchased for hiking in the Madeira levadas, this was tested out initially in the gym and to my satisfaction. This is certainly suitable and capacious enough for my forthcoming hiking trip. It is a no frills sports bottle suitable for my needs.

The bottle itself is great but the lid is now made from a brittle plastic rather than a flexible rubbery type. If or when you drop the bottle upside down the lid splits. Looking for replacement tops for 2 bottles so they don’t get wasted.

for the bicycle it gets dirty where you drink, so not ideal. But overal good quality and does not get so easy scratched

Used these for the bike leg of an Ironman race. They fit in the bottle cages well and they are easy to open with you mouth while riding. The optic yellow makes it easy to spot your bike during transition which is a nice added bonus.
