It's a freaking minotaur with polished diction, vast knowledge gathered over centuries of manslaughter, leathery wings and unquenchable thirst for blood. The art in this volume is awesome. There are still awkward panels and a few anatomy lessons would've had been beneficial to the author by this point, but man, Nosferatu Zodd is a masterful creation. The detailed crosshatching, the work with shadows and whites - it's fabulous. The foreshadowing of the future pain and treachery, the hints about the real stakes of the game, all is here. I'm still undecided whether Griffith is just a cold-blooded sociopath drawn to exploiting every weakness and vulnerability or whether the sacrifice for Godhand must be genuine and his feelings for Guts are true. Boyfriend loves it. Got as gift.
Got for my partner who loves anime and is a super fan! He loves the artwork and says theres alot of information in the comic that isn't in the berserk films. He says the comics are defiantly worth the buy, if your a fan of berserk. Says there also very quick reads, he read 3 in a day no problem.thats how much he loves it!

I can't stop turning the page, definitely worth reading. Just wish there was a compendium. Berserk gonna hurt my wallet!

Looks good!
I've finally got part 5, of this great Manga series. The book itself is sealed in a cellophane wrap. This book (like the previous ones in this series), aren't over big. So can easily be carried inside a coat pocket. Which is something I do, if on a long journey, or waiting for an appointment. Happy with this purchase. Good. Thanks.

The article arrived sealed in a thin protective film. The only downside of this edition is that some lines of text in the balloons are cut from the page, as if there was an error evaluating the layout of the print.
