Cheap. Quick. Clean. Do the job!
I don't usually bother to review simple items like this but felt that I should. Got this set of six mousetraps for under £10. Far cheaper than a lot of the single purchase ones on Amazon. all six of mine set without too many problems. Had to lift the trigger platform on one or two of them to get the catch to stay in place but that was all. If you are failing to catch successfully then it's probably due to the set up rather than the product. My advice is as follows: only handle traps wearing rubber gloves to avoid transfer of human scent, use chocolate spread for bait, place all six out at once, don't set the traps the first time you put them out; this will let the mice feel confident to eat from something new in their territory, place traps up against the wall with bait facing the wall, after your first free meal night check which area most of your bait has been eaten in, on night two set + bait all traps and place in the area of most activity. leave for a couple of days and I guarantee you will catch your furry friends! Clean kill with no mess and easy disposal of bodies afterwards. Good luck.

Very sensitive and effective, easy to use, great value
Excellent mouse traps - at a great price too. These traps are quick to get going and are ‘self-arming’ (i.e. just pull them back and they click locked - no fiddling around trying to set a pin just right). They’re also extremely sensitive - a few of mine went off just putting them down once I’d armed them - which makes them perfect for catching mice as they weigh hardly anything. They’re also really effective - I caught 2 mice within 6 hours of putting them out!Tip - use something sweet for bait (like a biscuit or some cake) they definitely prefer this to traditional cheese. Happy catching! Finally these should also work well long term as they don’t suffer from rusty firing pins like the old wood ones used to.

After a few months, the quality of the traps really begin to shine.
Second Edit: Ever since changing my bait method from peanut butter to syrup and cookie crumbs, I've had tremendous success. So I take back what I said preliminarily, these traps get most of the big and small ones given you have a good baiting technique.Edit: Coming back after a few months, added a star because I've caught a few adult/large mice in them. Still no luck with the smaller ones, they're still too light to active anything.Traps are well built - but not sensitive enough. Literally had dozens of times where mice have pulled all the bait out of the hole. Even with peanut butter stuck down in there, they manage to get all the top parts of it off. Might be that the babies are the only ones brave or foolish enough to mess around with them (being too light), and the adults to don't really try anything. Regardless - been over a week without a single catch with all six traps baited, set, then - well, you know, re-baited.Wasted nine pounds when I could have just gone with the poison I bought.

Work brilliantly. So easy to use with no mess.
So we are in the process of renovating our house and have no skirting boards downstairs. There are loads of gaps between the floorboards and the wall. I was sitting in my lounge early one morning and I heard this scratching sound. I turn around and see a mouse looking at me from the other sofa. It then proceeded to run around my lounge! I then discovered mouse poo in my kitchen and a bag of bird seed had been nibbled. So I got straight on Amazon and ordered these traps. They came the same day which was amazing. The are incredibly easy to use as you just stick a bit of peanut butter in the hole and lift the bar up to click it in place. I placed all of them around the rooms and went to bed. I came down the next morning to 1 dead mouse. Disposal was easy and I reset the trap for the next night. In the morning was yet another dead mouse. So we are up to today and I have literally just heard the trap in our hall cupboard go off. They snap shut so fast that there is no struggle. All in all, these are fantastic!

Doesn't kill instantly...
It's getting 3* just because it got that mice. However, one of the traps got emptied without being set off. What's the biggest reason for star deduction, and I was really close to giving 1* is that IT DOESN'T KILL THEM INSTANTLY. And that's not ok.1 managed to wiggle out and was found dead about 6 inches away and second one was trashing in it for 15 minutes whilewe were trying to figure out how to quickly kill it so it doesn't suffet at quarter past 2 in a morning. Still shaken tbh and I can gut an animal... When killed quickly!I wanted this type of traps because they are fast to kill and efficient. These particular ones are not it completely. You need to work on making your mechanism stronger!

These Traps Are The Business!
We paid an exterminator €150 to rid our terraced house of mice, but after 3 weeks we were still hearing them under the floors and in the walls, so ordered 6 of these. We started catching mice in one location under the floorboards from the first day of setting a trap out and have averaged killing two mice a day there since. We're not happy to discover just how many of the little buggers we appear to have had, but are delighted with how quickly and efficiently these traps are helping us get rid of them. We don't hear mice in the walls or under the floors anymore, and are now only catching the odd young one, so I think we're almost rid of them. I kinda wiish I'd just bought these before calling the pest control company to come out with his poison blocks. The bait cup design makes it easy to wedge a bit of bait in there (Kinder bars have worked very successfully for us), making it impossible for the mice to steal it without triggering the trap. The design of the traps, too, allows us to empty them without having to touch the mouse in any way, so that after the first day I felt okay with emptying the trap, myself. I just dump the body into a plastic dog poo bag and then take it out to the rubbish bin.
