One of the best, cheapest things you can do for your vehicle is to change the air filter, because that's one way dirt gets into your engine. This filter is a good one, with an extra layer of media. It's easy to install on my car, just a few screws. I've heard it's best NOT to check how it looks, just to go ahead and change it at intervals regardless so you don't compromise the seals. Maybe that's BS, IDK. The price is right.

I'm not sure why Amazon reports this filter as "Frequently Returned Item", as I've only seen great reviews. IF it doesn't fit a particular vehicle's engine, that's NOT the filter's fault and so it should NOT be rated low because of a fitment error, this, IMHO. For a while after the Los Angeles Fires, my 2013 Jetta TDi, was Hesitating upon pressing the accelerator pedal. Soooo frustrating, you push on the gas, and go nowhere! After replacing the air filter, the problem is pretty much gone. These TDi's NEED Air. If there is lack of good air to the engine, it will NOT run very well. THis Filter looks and performs as the OEM did/does. IT looks the same as the original when the car was new. I don't expect any problems with this filter unless there's a manufacturing defect. So far? SO GOOOOOOD!
