I must say, when looking for a pillow, this seemed exactly what I needed. I'm a side sleeper and had been experiencing some really bad sciatic pain caused by a cheap walmart body pillow. I needed something firm that would keep my legs and hips at a straight line outwards when laying on my side. There are a lot of terrible pillows out there that seem great, so I was willing to invest in a really good pillow (people do some pretty desperate things when in pain). 60 bucks is pretty hefty though, considering Amazon prices. All reviews you see will either commend the pillow for being super firm, or the negative comments say the same, saying that they returned it because it was too filled. Either way, it seemed super promising. The pillow is definitely a little denser than the rest, but not shockingly so. Someone described it like having another person in bed with you, not really, in my opinion.. unless you sleep in a small bed. The pillow ended up decompressing to it's fullest point, but it still wasn't totally up to my satisfaction. Now, I know it's all personal preference, but the part that frustrated me, is that they have the ability to adjust the fill level, but you have to mail the pillow to them to adjust it, which means I'm without a pillow for at least a week, possibly more. If they just built in a freaking zipper, then we wouldn't have to be at their mercy. They could ship more filling as needed or allow you to make your own adjustments for it to be flatter. If you're looking for a hack to make it firmer without sending it back, I just grabbed it from one end, shook the filling to compact if down, and wrapped a hair tie around the loose fabric. It shortened the pillow by about 6 inches, but I'm 5'10" and it barely made a difference to me, lengthwise. This helped a TON. Since then, it's perfectly firm and zero back pain!! I consider this a win, I was getting really sick of waiting money on another cheap body pillow (both in price and quality)

Love the feel of the pillow and it doesn't become ultra lumpy and bunched up. I did end up washing it, then put it in the drier and ran that at least 5 times flipping it (inverting the fold) each time to try to get it dry. It still came out smelling funky. Not moldy, just.... Off (and not good). I'm hoping washing it again using scenter detergent helps because while it washed successfully and went back to a fresh poof, it's smells now. I'll update if the maker advised or it changes after a second wash.

I have found I sleep a lot better since getting this body pillow than I did with the two pillows that proceed it. I did notice some of the thing that other reviewers have commented to be draw backs with this body pillow. 1. It is rather bulky. I have I have spent a small fortune on all to many won't go flat pillows that do go flat. This body pillow has yet after several weeks to show signs of going flat. 2. It does have a bit of weight that a smaller person I can see having a problem with. I haven't found this to be a problem though for me. 3. This body pillow is long. I don't have an issue with it but I am 6'2". All in all I would buy again as it has helped a great deal with my lower back pain & that had previously been making sleeping tough at times. It does really help to put this body pillow in the dryer on low heat for approx.20 minutes to fluff it up. Mine fluffed up some 4 X the size it was coming out of the box.

Very full threw in dryer to fluff up. Wish it was a bit longer but works great. Recommend cover for it cause it d feels picky

I'm in my mid 30's, and I've had the same body pillow probably since middle school. I've tried to update it over the years, but they've always been too fluffy and soft and ended up going flat and I'd resort back to my old one. It's at the point where the stuffing inside is separating and getting clumpy and it was time to finally upgrade. A lot of reviews and research later I decided on this one. Let me just say, she is thick and dense! This pillow is heavy, but in the best way. I've had it for several weeks now and it's super comfortable to sleep with. It's nice and thick and I don't feel like it's going to compress down and become flat like ones in the past, I actually feel supported now. I put it inside my old body pillow cover and it's a tad longer, so I just had to shove it in slightly. I love this thing.
