A LOT bigger than expected! What a blast!
Considering this is one of the most inexpensive State Quarter collector's map that you can buy, I wasn't really expecting it to be super high quality... but I was surprisingly wrong! This is an excellent map! It's well made, sturdy, and even includes an extra section for coins minted at different places! For instance you'll learn pretty quickly that coins from the Denver Mint are about 8x as common as the ones from the Philadelphia Mint, so I devoted the main maps to Denver and the bonus section to Philly. But it's up to you how you want to do it! I have included a dollar bill in my photos to give you a better idea of scale... these maps are a great size! No squinting or confusion here! As you'll see, I have two maps... one is for the state quarters, and one is for the newer series of national parks. I highly recommend getting both! That way unless the quarters you have are from 1998 or older, or 2023 and newer, you'll have use for every one of them! I am a bit of a perfectionist, so every time I build up a nice little collection of quarters in my truck's cup holder, I will sit down with my maps and see if any of the coins I have are more shiny/in better condition than the ones I have on map... if they are, I swap 'em out! As you can see, for the Denver Mint I have nearly completed both maps entirely... although there are a couple that are proving to be extremely rare, but that's part of the fun! Whether you are a grandparent or parent that wants to encourage a healthy hobby in your kids, or your just a guy like me that likes to complete collections, these quarter maps offer something for everyone to enjoy! They are educational as well! For instance, in addition to including the capital of every state, they include a little information for each state that includes the states motto, nickname, flower, bird, and the date it was founded. It's pretty rare to spend so little and get so much joy out of something, but I have had a blast with these! I think you will like them too!

This beautiful folder is the best educational tools....it's magic.
The folder was a Santa gift to myself. It started an interest in the State Quarter Program of the National Mint which has grown passionately day by day. This is one of the most interesting and educational projects anyone could undertake. It is a golden opportunity to teach children about the states and a bit of history of each one. The sculptures for these coins are outstand. They are little gems of beautiful art. The history of how the United States Congress did something RIGHT is interesting in itself. There are many websites with the history of this more than worthwhile project. Somebody really knew what they were doing. If you have children 8 or so, don't miss this opportunity to give them an experience that may last a lifetime. My son who started collecting the great little blue books as a child is now a true numismatic. Kids should learn that word also. As a side bar: I found the best place to find many, many state coins was the local coin laundry. $60 of quarters buys a lot of great time looking, evaluating and wondering. I wonder how coins get so dirty so quick. A coin dealer told me to wash them gently in mild detergent and dry well. I do at it is amazing what happens. No scrubbing just gently wash. For those quarters that are hard to find. I finally went to Ebay and Amazon to fill out the folder. With this folder there are slots for both Philadelphia and Denver minted quarters. If you live on the East Coast, it is hard to find those "D" coins, but the greatest pleasure is to get a quarter or two at a convenient store and turn them over and you find a treasure!! I am now on my third set. If you choose to go the uncirculated coin route, it can be a little pricey, but the investment is worth it. BTW, I am also into the National Parks. Now these are ever more beautiful works of art.

Good quality coin book
My 7y boy loves this. Big size, areas for two sets of quarters, easy to read and understand. He spent weeks asking people for quarters to try to fill all the spots.

The album is sturdy . it is quite easy to take the coins out and then put them back into their slots. Interesting information of each state and when it became a part of the United States of America. Space for coins of both the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia mints. I am very pleased with the purchase.
