Functions just as intended, nifty little container for adding spices to any food or drink!
Recent recipes we've used required using baby leaves to cook in a pot and I'm not a fan of picking out bits of leaves in my food so I purchased this to use to hold the bay leaves in the pot and when done cooking you simply remove the container, dump out the leaves, clean it and use it again next time! Works just as intended and is a good value for the money. The top screws on and off easily and has a hook to drop into any pot or mug when making food or tea or coffee so itxs easy to grab the hook and remove the container. The little metal pan it comes with is nice to set it on the counter to keep from dripping so you can come back to it after enjoying food or a drink and clean later. Would buy again if needed!

Perfect even for tea dust
Perfect! Fits small teapot. Once teabag were cut, the tea 'leaves' are almost dust. All other have left sediment, this infuser left no sediment and did a great job!😍😍Also loved the small bottom plate perfect for setting diffuser on when I took out of pot. Nice tight top, no tea leaf escaped.

Good Quality
I was nervous to purchase this because I seen reviews stating the quality was so/so and broke after uses. I have been using this a few weeks and the quality is good. So glad to not be using tea bags anymore.

Works as well as a tea bag.
I got it because I couldn't tell whether the tea bags I bought used plastics. When I bought this I didn't know which size I wanted. I made the video to help others decide which size they want. This is the small.

Works well but still little particles gets into tea
This tear infuser works pretty well but it does not stop particles from escaping into the tea.

much better than the ball type of infuser
I am new to drinking tea -- I just started drinking green tea regularly after reading a book about okigai and the habits of people who live long, healthy lives. Green tea was one of the things that was recommended, and I remember really liking green tea when I lived in Japan. However, the tea bags that were available in the grocery stores just weren't that good. So I started buying loose-leaf tea, which I had never used before. I originally got the "ball" type -- like tongs with a ball on the end, when you squeeze, it divides the sphere in two halves in which to put the tea. It was a real pain. I put 2 tsp. of tea in each cup, but the half-sphere didn't hold that much, so I ended up trying to stuff it, which was messy and ended with wasted tea, or using two of the infusers. The mesh had holes that were too big and tons of the leaves ended up in my tea. So I gave those away and tried this one, which I love. It's big enough that you can put as much tea as you want, even enough for my double-size travel mugs. The holes are EXTREMELY tiny, so there is very little sediment in your cup. I think that is also one of the reasons it's easy to clean out, just rinse it like a little cup and the pieces of leaf don't get stuck in the big holes of a wider mesh. I also love the little saucer it comes with so that I have somewhere to put it when I pull it out of my teacup -- I brew two cups out of each basket, so I can leave it on it's little saucer without making a mess until I brew my next cup. Love it.

Bought this two years ago, used it everyday since, it still looks like new (attached pictures are the product after 2 years of daily uses). It does get stained with tea with time, but it goes away with a good scrub. No rust at all. The holes are very tiny so the tea leaves don't get into the tea. I attached a key ring on it so it's easier to use. I love that little thing. I recommend!

This is well made from strong stainless steel, and the lid when screwed on makes this infuser, very sturdy and knock resistant. Since the tannin in tea will colour the infuser brown over time, it is handy just to pop it into a mild solution of bleach and water, for it to come out gleaming! In use, this infuser will accommodate around three tea-spoons of tea, but be aware that dry tea expands when wet and hot! The size of the perforations are just right, allowing room for the trapped air inside to escape, but not the tea-leaves. However fine tea dust will find a way through, so I find it best to shake the infuser over the tea caddy/bag, before putting it into a cup or tea-pot. The stainless chain is long enough for securing to any mug/cup/tea-pot and the stainless resting dish is a real boon. All-in-all I highly recommend it, and yes, I would be happy to buy another if I needed one. CONS: It's a little pricey compared to some others...but it is quality!

Too unstable in the glass. Also loses its shine after a few use.

Have been using a ball infuser and was getting fed up with the amount of loose tea that escaped. I currently use a combination of tea bags and loose tea but will soon be using just loose tea and therefore wanted a better infuser. This fits the bill perfectly no more loose tea escaping, easier to fill (also can hold more if you want to make more than a cup/mug) Great to have a little saucer to put infuser on while it cools down before emptying. A great all round product
