Amazing night light
Night light with white and amber light, also adds beautiful nigh display, please most difficult taste, enjoyed playing back ground sound that is already built in, birds, water, music, camping fire sound, and few more, also easy to connect to blue tooth for playing any desired sound or music, volume can be controlled via included remote control, lights also can be adjusted for colors, display speed and mixing light colors for amazing display, Highly recommend .

This thing is lovely. I have a couple of these lamps and they usually have some sort of laser which projects “stars” onto the ceiling - this forgoes that and you just end up with this “northern lights” type projection. it’s really quite pretty and almost hypnotic if you follow the lights patterns. This is borderline romantic (at least that’s what the boss said) and I can see how, under the right circumstances the smooth projection would add a little something to your mood. The projector also has a speaker which is of adequate quality. You’re never going to get great sound out of a cheap speaker - but it works well and isn’t a bad sound. A little tinny if you really concentrate but as a bit of background music it’s fine. The lights are adjustable for brightness… speed and colours - and you can mix these easily via the remote, which is really responsive. When in use the projector uses approx 11w of energy! (For those who don’t know that’s not a lot and wont be adding a huge amount to your electric bill) The remote control is responsive and the lights look really nice. The unit itself isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing but i’ve seen worse. It’s a nice little unit and definitely worth the price… If you’re the sort of person who occasionally enjoys just sitting in the dark with some soft music on then give this a go - it’s really relaxing.

I've trialled a few of these lights and I think for ME this is the most calming. Esp if using as a night light. My son has asd so these lights have been fun to test his responses to them as these can stimulate their sensory in a good way or negative. My son has seemed to react positively but he has his favourite. This wasn't it. I think he was a little underwhelmed by it. I liked the shape of this that it looked like an iceberg. I liked the pattern that was slow and mesmerising yet calming to watch. The projection is very wide that it covered my studio flat and then some. The colour options are good as with all but the nature sounds as usual are awful but I know I won't use it for that or as a Bluetooth speaker. It's ok for me to use just as a night light. The price isn't bad for what it is. Comes with a very handy remote supplied with a battery and can be used straight out of the box.

WHAT'S IN THE BOX?! The box contains the galaxy projector. USB cable, remote control, manual, and instructions booklet. The instructions are brief but to the point and clear. This isn't rocket science. I was slightly impressed that the remote already has a small battery inside so all good to go! WHAT DOES IT DO?! Do you want a swirling galaxy on your ceiling? I don't mean the chocolate bar even though this is probably the milky way... So it projects a swirling galaxy show that slowly changes colours as it swirls. It has a blu-tooth speaker and also a white noise button to produce some relaxing type sound effects. DESIGN AND BUILD QUALITY. Well it is a pretty ugly lump of plastic although it doesn't feel particularly flimsy. Although to be fair you'll probably be using it in a dark room so I'm not sure the look will be of much importance. USING THE THING The galaxy projector is powered by a USB cable which kind of limits where you can put it. I much prefer devices that have an internal battery but that would only push the price up. Although on the plus side the USB cable here is really long so you have a lot of options on where to place it. Controlling it is easy by pressing the buttons on the side or the small remote. You can change the colour, speed up or slow down, the brightness, speaker volume, colour temp, and white noise. CONCLUSION I really like these kinds of projectors. I feel like there are better ones on the market but this is still very good. It's so relaxing. I enjoy using this before bed or during a movie. I can imagine this would be even better with a SF movie. The swirling effect is relaxing and bright enough. PROS Batteries included in the remote Galaxy effect is pretty CONS Device kinda ugly USB powered only
