Olympic Barbell EZ Bar Curl Bar 4ft/5ft/7ft for 2 Inch Weight Plates, Perfect for Home Fitness (300lb/330lb/400lb/700lb/1000lb/1500lb)

This is a really nice bar from a lesser known company. I own two of the 5ft versions of this bar (one in my shed gym and one in the house) so I already knew I would like this bar. I also have their 7ft yellow Cerakote version of this bar which has a much more passive knurl than what I prefer which is why I ordered this one. This bar has a nice quality medium like knurl and has a good spin to the sleeves. For once I feel that I have found a barbell where the manufacture has most likely underrated the max weight capacity. I am not strong enough to test this to confirm it but both this bar and the yellow version are of the same diameter and length and have the same 190k tensile strength yet somehow this bar is only rated up to 700lbs and the other is rated up to 1,000lbs which would what I would expect it can actually hold based on that tensile strength. If I am wrong that is okay since I do not know anyone who can lift 700lbs so this bar will be fine for just about everyone myself included. In comparison the Rogue Ohio bar (not to be confused with the Ohio Power Bar which is a different bar) has similar specs and costs significantly more. Sure the warranty is better with Rogue but at only $56 and free shipping you could order four of these for about the same price and get a similar enough feel which is why I wanted this bar.

Synopsis: This is a sturdy, gritty, well-made curl bar and worth the price. I was in the market for a curl bar for the garage gym and stumbled upon this one. While there were different sizes and colors, I ended up settling on the 15lb, black coated as my desired bar. When I purchased it they were running a sale, but even without a sale price, this is amazing value for your money. The bar is sturdy. I didn’t load to too heavily the first couple times, but I’ve taken it into the 120lb range and it’s held on masterfully. The clips that come with it are garbage, definitely do yourself a favor and get your own set of clips (as seen in my images). The grip is just enough too. It seems to find that sweet spot of not too much where it tears your hands up and not enough where you need to chalk up to hold on. Overall this is an easy purchase if you are in the market for a new curl bar. No hesitation in the slightest from me! 5 Pumped Up Stars out of 5!

Quality bar. Great for beginners and priced at half the cost of some other pro ones.

This curl bar is well-built, the knurled grips are a bonus, and it holds weight as advertised. The only deficiency is the cheap collars! They are thin, don't fit well, and are hard to manage. Fortunately, the collars from an Olympic bar work great on this curl bar.

This is exactly what I wanted ! After doing my research & reading reviews I finally made my choice. Just as described above. This is an excellent piece of equipment 5ft long 👍🏻 came perfectly wrapped , no scratches just beautiful . And the price makes even better! This will work for my small gym, and perfect for my ladies learning how to use a barbell. I hope the pictures will convince you 😝

Good quality and sturdy. Doesn't get rust if stored inside.

This bar has no bearings. If you are expecting bearings, be prepared to be disappointed.
