Bluetooth Receipt Printer IMP001

After years of giving out handwritten receipts I finally decided my small business needed to look a bit more "professional" so I researched POS/receipt printers. I had been using Square for POS purchases and PayPal for online purchases. If you've researched printers for Square, you'll know that you will spend a fortune on compatible printers. This printer is definitely compatible with PayPal Here so I've now moved my business completely over to PayPal which has actually simplified my bookkeeping immeasurably! So not only does did this printer save me a lot in purchase price, but it also has saved me time and effort in accounting.The printer itself was very easy to set up at first. I initially installed it on a Windows 10 machine and that went smoothly. You do NOT need to use the included mini CD to install the software - instead you can download it from the MunByn website directly. I then used the downloaded software (on my Windows machine) to change the Bluetooth name of the printer to be "woosim" as suggested elsewhere and once I did that, I easily paired it with my android phone as well as my Amazon Fire tablet and was able to print a receipt from PayPal Here without any hassles. It worked like a charm.The quality of the product seems solid and for my purposes it appears as if it will last quite a while. I don't know about the longevity of the thermal head, but time will tell. The only minor downside that I can find is that the manual is a bit confusing at times, but nothing that can not be figured out with a bit of time and patience. For a company whose primary language is not English, the manual is pretty decent, just a few areas that could use improvement.So in summary: Reliable printer at a reasonable cost that supports PayPal Here. Great for small business usage.

The media could not be loaded. The price of the printer was great the shipping was great I’m sure that the printer in test mode printed out great but when I wanted to print from my iPhone it will not connect to Bluetooth I shouldn’t have to go to a CD to download software it should be a easy transition to download from the website the software and connect wirelessly to any device not just an android I should not have to go through all the steps to connect to BluetoothAnd only be able to print from PayPal my device did not connect at all only till my windows laptop and then I still could not print return the item will not purchase again

I saw so many variations of this printer on amazon, and wasn't sure what to expect. They all look mostly the same down to having the power, USB, and COM, ports on the same side and order. For whatever reason I selected this one and have not been disappointed. The blue tooth is very easy to pair, and battery life seems to last at least 1.5 days on continually.You could just leave it plugged in as well. Thermal paper for this little buggers are also dirt cheap. This is really a back up printer for my Star micronics, which has become really unstable recently.(seems to be very sensitive to network burps) While not as crisp, clean and fast as a star micro, it preforms very well, and you can customize columns, characters and even logos using a variety of different apps, and its portable. Nice little printer!

It's one of the less expensive options so I guess ya get what ya pay for. It was easy to install on my Samsung Android phone. It connected on the first try and worked with the first app I downloaded free off playstore. A slight learning curve. It seems to have some issues printing my logo. Printed it fine a couple times then wouldn't print it. Seems ok printing letters and numbers though. The idea was to issue receipts when I do business. I want to have my business name and logo at the top of each print. Will fiddle around with it, see if I can get it to print pictures again.

I purchased this printer to use with PayPal Here instead of paying $290.00 for one of the printers that PayPal has listed as compatible. This printer comes with a CD that has a printer setup utility called "Printer Tools_V3.exe". I hooked the printer up to my laptop with the included mini-usb cable and loaded the program from the CD. Hit "CONNECTION" and then where it says "Bluetooth name set" typed in 'woosim' (no quotes) and hit the "Name Set" button. After that I disconnected it from my laptop and paired it with the phone I have the PayPal Here app on. In PayPal Here I went to the "Settings" and under "Printers & Cash Drawer" chose "Woosim". It found the printer right away! I clicked on it and now the app says "Woosim enabled". Then I did a sample cash transaction and POOF! out popped a receipt!I'm very pleased that I didn't have to spend a lot to be able to print receipts! It's also great that it takes standard 2 1/4" wide thermal paper.

This printer is great for android device, however it’s not compatible with iOS.I use this printer for my business, and this is actually my second purchase of the same product. While I appreciate its portability and blue tooth capabilities, I must express my hope that the manufacturer would enhance the technology by adding compatibility with iOS devices.Pairing it with my Android device was a breeze, and it integrated seamlessly with the Loyverse app, however I had to purchase an android tablet as the printer is not compatible with iPhones or iPads.

This was super easy to set up, it prints really fast and you can carry it around, the instructions are kind of difficult to understand but they have a youtube link that explains everything.I have a Samsung Galaxy and I use Kyte, i just turn on my bluetooth and hit print and in a couple of seconds you have your receipt, simple.IT WORKS with IOS and KYTE, my wife has an iphone 8 with the latest software and the last version of kyte as of today and we set it up in 1 minute and it prints without any issues.

Low quality plastics, antique software and drivers. Mnay troubles to make it work.
