Exam Ref AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals

I would recommend this book to anyone starting their journey into Azure. It is also helpful to those looking to refresh their fundamental knowledge of Azure before heading into Az 104. Thanks.

Adds very little benefit over Microsoft Learn website. No disrespect to the author, prior Microsoft Press books used to be a lot more useful for passing MCP exams. This has no exam style questions nor tests. Being print, it has lots of out of date content even 3rd edition is old.

Good book

used this together with CloudGuru, passed with 90%. The book has a few minor items that are now out of date as regards the exam, but honestly its all good stuff to know if you are interested in the field.

Good book for fundamental foundations, but you will need to top your knowledge with some additional lab work and reviewing additional material on the Microsoft Website.

I bought this as I don't like to read on screen, but it seems the book has failed at it primary reason for existence and is mostly just an overview of the learning objectives with links to the online content. Forgive me for being cynical, but it's like the tech giants don't want you to have a physical object that they can't add to a subscription with ongoing costs! Also the print quality in parts is bad. See the photo. Frankly I expected more from a Microsoft book, and feel really disappointed with this purchase as I'll now have to go spend a load of time, effort and money printing web pages, which is all levels of wrong having paid for what I thought to be the preprinted version. Had I known this in advance I'd have used a popular search engine to find the already publicly available information.

print quality is very bad, but i have no choice as i want to read it to pass exam. i prefer printed books rather than e material, so i have to live with it.

Just started this, and it reads super easy and verry structured

The book has good contents and is comprehensive. The printing quality though, is a bit disappointing, similar to what I could have printed at home myself. Not sure it's worth the price.

I initially struggled to finish this book as every single line had useful information. But when I finished book twice it started to make more sense and I found this book targeted to prepare for AZ-900 exam. If you read this book, finish MS Learn and do some practice tests you don't need anything extra to pass test (I did mine today with 873)
