The Xtool IP616 is an excellent Diagnostics Tool, It will identify error codes and create reports you can use to troubleshot or share if you need assistance troubleshooting. One of the best features in my opinion is the live data option, you can also save live data reports for later review. I had an issue with my ABS /Front Radar Sensor, my dashboard suddenly started displaying error codes, I did an auto scan with my IP616 and emailed myself the report. after researching error-codes this one “C0036:07-68 Tone Wheel - Left Rear”, pointed me in the right direction. I re-connected my IP616 did Live data for the 4 Wheel Speed Sensors, the live data clearly showed the sensor sending a bad signal. Once my speed went over 10 miles the sensor shot up to the max you can see it in my picture below. I could tell my sensor was not sending a steady signal that represented the actual wheel speed. I replaced the Rear Left Sensor and drove my CX-5 and all my errors cleared, my issue was resolved. This is all you need to Work on your vehicles and save money, the unit will pay for itself in just a few repairs. You get Dealer Level Diagnostics at home, I love the Autoscan feature it picks up my Year, Make, Model and Vin, I have a BMW, Toyota Corolla, Mazda 6 and a Mazda CX-5 and my IP616 works on all of them as expected. The build quality is great, strong made to last. it does not feel flimsy, battery life is great, and diagnostics are very fast. you can also access Freeze Frame data when available, this can be very helpful when troubleshooting. I love the graphing function, and the ability to save and view recorded files later. Another excellent highlight is the Free Lifetime Software Updates. The free lifetime software updates will save you lots of money, and technical support is great I’ve had several questions I’ve asked via email, and the response is great, I usually have a response in a few hours, or the next day, to me this is very important. It’s great to have a great tool, but even better to have support back the tool. Remember this is a tool that will give you very deep insight and allows you to access live data, you can see what happening in real time, I always love to troubleshoot with my IP616 because I usually discover features, I was not aware I could do. In short, I highly recommend this unit it has meet all my expectations.

Works well was able to scan my Nissan something that's what other scanners could not do.

Has many features. Connected well on all my gm trucks. I just have to play with all the functions but so far i love it. Great value.

This unit is amazing! It can do most things a dealership’s scanner can do ! It read some codes that I didn’t know was active on my truck … Which prevented further issues ( no Check engine light was on) i’m not gonna say this very easy to use!!! It Takes some time to figure it out , but once you get the hang of it, you will be glad you purchased it. ( if I can do it any one can thanks to google lol ) I have contacted customer service and they was amazing about getting back with me. Remember they are halfway across the world, so it might take them a day to get back to you but they will !

I had the tool for literally 2 days it worked fine I put it up and went back later to use it again and it stopped connecting I tried it on 3 cars I have and same issue with all them not a bad scanner personally may be a used 1 they sold to me that someone else returned I'm upset and this pushed my project back and now I have to wait for another 1 or reorder

Toyota dealers will charge roughly $500 including tax to program a key fob and cut a key for a Toyota Prius. This tool saved me over $500 to program two key fobs of two of my Toyota Prius. Easy to program and worked flawlessly. I am sure you can program other vehicles too. It listed many brands. It can diagnose most of the trouble of your car and shows the very descriptive instructions of the symptoms. It is very useful for DIY. Very powerful tool Everything seemed working fine so far Plus it has a lifetime update. Highly recommended this tool.

The build is great & its easy to read. The update feature is nice, But it can be slow as hell and it really doesn't have as many usable features as it could, even on newer vehicles half the time only the diagnostic reader works & thats just to look up & clear a code
