Works perfectly with Vizio "S4221w-C4 v2" 2.1 Soundbar
Works perfectly, no programming necessary, just installed 2 AAA's and it worked on my old, no longer sold Vizio 2.1 "S4221w-C4 v2" Sound Bar. Also, this Remote is no longer sold by Vizio. My original remote was still working fine, except the LCD screen was defective...some dots worked, most didn't...so became unreadable....seems to be common design problem, so it might be worth buying multiple spares of this remote now, why still available here on Amazon, since official Vizio website where I bought my remote stopped selling it.

Perfect replacement. Add batteries and point at device to operate. Buttons were easy to press and worked well.

Better than original
I really like this replacement my original controller didn't have the option of display and it was really confusing to know where i was doing configuration. I just check compatibility and it was play and go. Real quick configuration.

For 2023 and newer elevate sound bars
I bought this for a 2022 elevate sound bar not realizing it was missing a feature used on mine. That aside it does what it needs to do. The only thing it will not do is switch between hdmi 1 and 2. Unless u search each time.
