Tez Mustard Oil,16 fl oz

I purchased this oil so that I could make the recipes in The Nepal Cookbook (many of the recipes call for mustard oil), but I can see myself using this in lots of similar dishes. It smells good to me -- like ground up mustard seeds. Despite the oil's heavy appearance, it doesn't feel heavy in the mouth. I can imagine dressing a salad with this, for instance. The packaging says that it's only for external use, but that's only because that label is required by the US government. People all over the world eat mustard oil and manage to live another day.

The reason I purchased this mustard oil is because it is free from argemone oil, which is not good for your health. Upon receiving the bottle, it looked completely different than the pictures online. It also says "for external use only" and does not mention the free from argemone oil. On top of that, you are not allowed to return this item as it is a food item. Disappointed to say the least.

You can feel a little bit of a tingle if using on your scalp but it helps my hair grow

The smell isn't that bad. I'm hoping to see results for my African American natural 4c hair. I'll have to update my review in a month or so.

This product is really good. It adds flavor to your food. Before you cook your food. Make sure to heat the crease until it gets hot, than let it cool.

First of all this has a very strong taste, so use sparingly. My experience is this....using this product I lost weight very rapidly and a lot of it. Although I am only about 20 pounds overweight, I lost 30 pounds in a few weeks. However, it raised my blood pressure as well. I became frightened by these intense and drastic results so I threw it away. I suppose if you are a young person and want to lose weight and blood pressure is not a concern for you, you can try it. But be prepared for drastic results. When I lost all that weight, I did not change my diet at all.

Bought this for hair growth. I have natural kinky 4a/4b hair and I haven't seen much change in length. This oil also smells Reeeallly bad! I read that Indian women massage this into their scalp and it promotes hair growth I use it with other oils to mask the smell but I will try to use it as a pree-poo instead. Will update if I see any progress

The real thing, potent, with good hot mustard taste and scent as one would expect. This is the one that was recommended by my dear friend in Bhutan.
