The Best Way to Reclaim Your Garage Floor!
I used to have a real love hate relationship with my garage. I loved that it existed, but I hated that I could never find anything and all my long scraps of wood were constantly in a tangled pile on the floor. I'm pretty sure my car was also starting to get a complex from always being banished to the driveway. This Ultrawall rack system solved all my problems and made my garage a place of pure, organized bliss. I'm so glad I got the black version it looks incredibly sleek and professional on my workshop wall. The setup was surprisingly simple. The instructions were clear and all the necessary hardware was included. I had all four racks up on the studs and ready to go in under an hour. It's incredibly sturdy and feels like it could hold the weight of a small car. The fact that each shelf can support up to 330 pounds is just mind blowing and gives me total confidence in its strength. This rack has completely transformed my space. All my lumber, pipes, and random long objects are now neatly organized and off the floor which is a true joy to see. I actually have room to walk around my garage again and my car has officially been welcomed back home. This is the kind of purchase that makes you feel like you have your life together. If you are a woodworker or just someone with a messy garage that needs a major dose of organization, you need this rack. It's an incredible value and will make your space so much more functional. You will be so glad you bought it.

Organized Chaos achieved
As a DIY enthusiast with a shed that often resembled the aftermath of a lumber avalanche, the Ultrawall Wall Mount Wood Organizer has officially saved me from the brink of insanity. Mounted inside my shed, this bad boy turned my cluttered mess into an impressively organized space that now whispers, "Yes, I am a professional." Setup: Installing this was a breeze. The instructions were so straightforward that even I, the guy who usually installs things “by feel,” managed to mount it perfectly on the first try. (Okay, I did have to grab my stud finder, but only because I didn’t want to risk my precious 2x4 collection crashing down.) In under 30 minutes, my shed went from "help me" to "look at me." Sturdiness: I wasn’t sure how much weight these racks could really hold, but I’m happy to report they’re an absolute beast. I stacked an eclectic mix of wood—standard 2x4s, plywood scraps, and a few longer pieces I swear I’m going to use one day—and these racks didn’t budge. They give off serious “I can handle whatever you throw at me” vibes. The Space Saver Dream: Here’s the kicker: my shed is not exactly a sprawling mansion. Every square inch counts, and these racks turned what used to be wasted wall space into a functional masterpiece. I now have room for actual projects instead of wading through piles of wood like some kind of lumber swamp creature. Bonus Features: The powder-coated finish looks sleek and makes me feel like I bought something way fancier than I actually did. It also seems pretty impervious to scratches, and I don’t see these racks giving up anytime soon. Final Verdict: If your shed, garage, or workspace looks like an episode of Hoarders: Lumber Edition, these racks are the answer. They’re sturdy, stylish, and the perfect solution for getting your space back. Now when people walk into my shed, they don’t see a disaster—they see an organized genius. (Okay, maybe not genius, but it’s a step up.) For the price and the peace of mind, I’m tempted to buy a second set. Highly recommend!

Versatile -- lumber or metal storage. EZ to install.
Ez Install. 4 Support Brackets with three supports on each. For Lumber they recommend 2 brackets and with three supports you have three shelves. A total of 6 shelves. I used it for holding my metal stock for blacksmithing projects. So I used all 4 support brackets on a single level which gives me 3 shelves with 4 supports on each shelf. This works quite well for my metal stock. Installation was quick and easy. Lagbolt the supports into -- in my case -- 6 x 4 x 2 pine board firmly place 2 inches into the ground on a gravel base and then lagbolted into an existing heavy duty shelving unit. Very sturdy for metal or lumber. Thumbs up.

Yep
This wood rack is very simple to install especially if you use an impact driver. I give 4 stars because the sale image posted is not the same as what I received. There are no bottom screws on the 90 degree piece. Only where the horizontal arms attach to the wall mount uprights. Amazon is great but when you see one thing and get a different thing, is disappointing.

Buy these and not the garbage look a-likes
Prelude: Yes, I'm a cheapskate. Chapter 1: So when I was looking for lumber racks, I found these first. It has great reviews and seems to fit my needs. The price was not too bad either. Being the penny pincher I am, I looked around for alternatives. I found a set of 8 for only $20 more. WHAT A DEAL! They look exactly the same so they must be the same, right? I received the windowmaker racks (read on) and opened the box. Hmmm... No instructions and back of bolts busted open rolling about the box. No matter, I just use the products pictures on amazon to figure out how to put them together (which later on I found out that they were assembled wrong in the pictures). I merrily mounted my "what a great deal I hope they don't kill me racks" and started to put some lumber on them. I got a couple of 2x4's and some scrap pieces on then walked away for 20 minutes. I came back and noticed that the arm on one side was starting to bend down. In my confused state, I walked over and put my hand on the arm then SNAPPO. The arm broke off and the lumber fell on me. Fortunately I'm part lumberjack and part beaver so having wood land on my head is a daily occurrence. I measured the thickness of the steel from the broken arm. It measured a whopping 0.8mm. Keep in mind that is with a thick coat of paint which I'm sure they were counting on for structural reasons. I took down the mass deadly shrapnel which decorated my wall, threw it back in the box, and initiated a return. Chapter 2: I searched amazon again for lumber racks and found these, again. I figured I'd buy them even though "they're all the same". These came the next day. Without much exuberance or optimism I opened the box knowing that these were likely to attack me all the same as the first ones. What's this? Instructions? That can't be. What what? Instructions in English that is easy to understand with pictures. I quick measure of the steel of the arm shows... 2.8mm? Okay Mr. Rack, you have me lulled into a false sense of cautious optimism. Let's see here... Sealed bags of bolts, nuts, lag bolts, plastic adhesive backed washers, and steel washers. I followed the directions as a proper Carpentry Engineering Savant (yes, I'm part that too) should do. Mostly because I wanted to know what to do with plastic adhesive backed washer are for. I mean really? Have you ever seen such a thing? Come to find out that the plastic washer are to be stuck to the side of the support beam filling in the gap between the bar and arm thus allowing smooth and less wiggle to the joint. Anywho, I got them mounted and cautiously loaded some lumber on. No bending, creaking, or ominous background music is happening. I figured, Okay Mr. Rack, I'm standing here, take your shot. I don't think it heard me because it didn't take the opportunity to attack. Postlude: Being cheap isn't easy. Sometimes it means taking some wood to the face (insert childish laugh here) to learn a lesson. You got to know when to spend the money. This is a product that's worth it. Don't be tempted to buy a cheap clone. They are not all the same. If you don't believe me, ask my boo boos.

So great for putting wood up on the wall off my floor
Simple, especially when you actually read the instructions. I skimmed, and put the stickers in the wrong place. Easily fixed once I caught it. A little bit tedious putting it together - twelve posts to attach takes a few minutes, but I had it up and loaded in about an hour. I'm not worried about these being scratched - its a lumber rack, and mostly hidden by the wood on them. I don't think they will scratch. The gap between the pegs is not large, which is probably reasonable for someone like me storing an assortment of wood pieces. My buddy saw the rack and his mind was blown - it has really helped my garage organization. I like that there are four pieces, and I can space them how I would like to hold short or long pieces, makes the versatility high. I think this is a well made thing that will last longer than I am able to do wood working.

Nice Wood Organizer!
This is an honest review of the Ultra Wall Wall Mount Wood Organizer which I have purchased and use in our garage. Pros: I would say build quality and durability is very strong with this organizer. Mine is currently holding lots of wood, drywall and pvc pipe. It also wasn’t that difficult to install. I would recommend if you are tackling installation yourself to have a stud finder, level, and an impact driver. Opportunities: I think the current design is good as is but it might nice to have some sort of attachment later to make more of a shelf versus and hanger. Overall: This is a great kit that helped us get the wood off of our garage floor and nicely organized on the wall.
