Barbie My Favorite The Original Teenage Fashion Model Doll

The best, most realistic Barbie on the market. Expensive, yes! However, the quality and looks are amazing. It looks like it was lazer etched. Worth the price. If you love Farrah as much as I did, it's so much better than the poster. I am dating myself.

I'm a Barbie doll collector and this doll is great! She's affordable for those of us who can't get an original #1 Ponytail Barbie. I love that she was made with the holes in her feet to go with the same stand as the original doll. The attention to detail was pretty good. Her face is beautiful and her hair is great. She has the poodle bangs (unlike the 35th anniversary doll) and she doesn't have a full head of hair like the original (if you take down her ponytail she'll be mostly bald). There is some double sided tape that holds her swimsuit up, but it doesn't take much effort to remove the swimsuit to dress her in the Solo in the Spotlight dress. In fact, the leftover tape is good for holding up the dress and the swimsuit if you decide to put it back on her. My only minor complaints are that you have to hike up the dress a little so you can put her on the stand properly, and that her hands are not the same hands that were on the original #1 Ponytail Barbie. I also really enjoyed the cards and little booklet that came with the doll. She was a great addition to my collection and is great for any Barbie collector or someone who remembers their Ponytail Barbie from when they were little.

El rostro es impecable, con el delineado azul sobre el ojo muy fino, juega en otra liga, al ser de Silkstone, tiene un peso, un tacto y una finura en el rostro que las de vinilo no pueden alcanzar., lo que la hace más “premium”, pero también más difícil de conseguir. Sin embargo, esta versión de la línea My Favorite Barbie (50 aniversario, 2009) es mucho más completa, casi como un set de colección. El material es más sólido y pesado que la de 1994, incluye reproducciones de los accesorios originales con mejor acabado y miniaturas de los folletos de moda de los años 50. El tono de piel es pálido, imitando el vinilo original que tendía a aclararse con el tiempo. Además, el molde del rostro es más fiel a la Barbie #1 de 1959, logrando esa característica mirada de reojo. Incluye un segundo outfit, el icónico vestido negro de noche “Solo in the Spotlight”. Como observación importante: esta Barbie no tiene toda la cabeza cubierta de cabello. Solo tiene pelo en los bordes, suficiente para formar su peinado de coleta; la parte central está pintada y es completamente calva. La verdad, se ve mucho mejor en persona. La arreglé, y la puse al lado de Frankie de Monster High x Barbie, se ven fabulosas <3

My Mom has collected Barbies for years and Found about this particular barbie too late(found out on the news...a story about it's collectibility and it's scarcity) so when she couldn't find it at any stores in the state, she was pretty bummed, to say the least. I checked Amazon.com, and boom! there it was! After about a minute it was on it's way to surprising my terrific Mom(which was just what it did!). It WAS her second Fav. cllectable Doll(just behind the Comeback Special Elvis figure made by Mcfarland action figures-a great and detailed doll for you Elvis collectors/fans[my mom is the biggest!]. Now the Farrah doll has slipped to a close third, behind the JAck Sparrow Barbie(Mom is a Huge Johnny Depp fan! But who isn't? I have likes him ever since I saw 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas', and I'm a straight fella!) I bought immediately after receiving an e-mail from Amazon suggesting it! So Kudos to Barbie for making a long overdue tribute to Farah(albeit a looonnngg overdue one in my opinion, I mean what better fit than a Barbie in Farrah's Likeness?). Also, thanks Amazon for all of the guitar gear! I tell all of my musician friends to stay out of Guitar Center and get to Amazon.com. Why pay $200 when you can pay $150? It is common sense! Keep the hits comming Amazon, Lord knows I'll keep draining my Debit Card account!........now to get those Nike Dunks in my cart! Thanks for being the best shopping spot on the intranet -Erik

El producto me encanta es lo que estaba buscando y esta bastante bien cuidado lo unico que el embalaje muy pobre podia maltratar el producto y no llegar en buen estado.

I don't have much experience with Amazon, so when my good friend asked me to order something for her, (she doesn't own a computer), I was hesitant. She had browsed your site & found the Barbie she's been looking for, as she is an avid collector. I must say, I had a great experience! The product got here quickly, on schedule, and was EXACTLY what I ordered! The doll is beautifully posed, in New condition, and the plastic case had minimal scratches. I could tell,great precautions were taken in the packaging of the doll as well! It wasn't just thrown in a box & shipped! My friend was thrilled! I most certainly will be back!

Ein wundervolles Barbie-Set, das in keiner Sammlung fehlen darf! Ist zwar teurer als damals (hatte sie 2009 schon einmal erworben und die Zeit hat leider ihre Spuren hinterlassen ), bin aber froh ,dass ich sie erneut ergattern konnte :)

Barbie50周年の頃、懐かしくて購入しました。 1958年・1960年の初期Barbieを探しましたが、古いものはプレミアがついてとても高価でしたし、 素人には本物かの区別もつきません。 何処の誰が遊んだか判らない人形よりは、新品の復刻版の方がいいな〜と・・・ この頃のバービーのお顔は、しっかりまつ毛が描かれていて（リカちゃんも同じく） 私は初期の、このシンプルなアイメイクの方が好きです。 お顔の角度で表情が違って見えますので 画像をアップしようとしたのですが・・・何故かできない (^-^; ほほがふっくらして、とってもキュートに見えたりします。 現在は箱入り娘状態、孫娘が大きくなったらプレセントしようと思っています。
