Ergon BT Gravel

I primarily bought this handlebar tape because of his thickness. I wanted to pad my handlebars a little bit more for comfort. I do long road rides so this helps with vibration and hand fatigue. The texture and surface of this tape feels great, I like a lot. Easy to install, lays flat on the handlebars, looks great.

Wraps on tight and the edges lay flat. Good cushioning. Wouldn't mind having expanded color choices, but black goes with everything.

I’ve used a lot of different types of bar tape over years, and the Ergon BT tape is by far the best so far. Installation was a breeze, thanks to its supple, stretchable characteristics. The adhesive center strip helps stabilize each individual wrap, but unlike a lot of other drop bar handlebar tapes, it’s not obnoxiously sticky, so repositioning is super easy. It was plenty long enough for my 420mm bars and includes the best finishing strips I’ve ever seen, for a clean, professional look. The gravel version is 3.5mm thick for extra cushioning, and the texture is nice and grippy even when wet.

Great gravel or road handlebar tape. Very cushiony and it is super long so you dont have to worry about running out of tape while wrapping up your bars.

Nice look and feel. Easy to unwrap/rewrap if it doesn't come out the way you want it the first time.
