Q: Can you lock it from the inside? I see it has nothing to turn to lock from inside

The lock is naturally in locked state. When you close the door, the door is automatically locked. When you enter the code, it momentarily engage the outside handle so you can turn the knob to open the door. But from inside, you can always turn the knob to open the door. Hope that helps.

Q: If the battery is too low to open the lock, what do you have to do to expose the emergency jump cable, and where is it?

What if the backup battery pack is locked in the room? Is there something else that I can connect to the jump cable?

Q: Does it fit an indoor passage with a round side latch style hole (not rectangle)?

I had to chip extra wood on the door to make room for the new latch. If its round, you will have to do the same. Simply install the new latch and pencil the wood and chip to fit the new latch.
