Does what it describes and is overall a really effective spindle for milling aluminum on a desktop diy cnc setup. Just note that to make any use of it at all, you need a much much stiffer frame than the hobby level desktop cnc machines you can buy for <$2k like the 3018, 3020, and 3040's. This motor is lower rpm but much higher torque than the usual super high rpm and very low torque DC motors those machines are designed for. And because torque directly translates to milling force on the machine you need something quite stiff to take the load and not just bounce off the part. If you're designing your own machine make sure it has all linear ball bearing guide rails with 2 rails per axis and 2 blocks per rail. But the benefit of the high torque is larger chips and much less heat generation in the part. On my custom built machine with all linear rails and ball screws and a 1/8" endmill on aluminum I can hit 1.5mm DOC, 1.3mm WOC, and ~500mm/min feedrate (climb cut) without much issue which means it can remove quite a serious amount of material pretty quick. On another note, the spindle is not directly compatible with a PWM signal and requires a PWM to voltage converter (~$10 on amazon) and then it works great. This means it can be used with virtually any CNC controller with just a bit of wiring. If you're like me and you want to use the motor to have a built in probe then this is a fairly good option as well. The two large shiny aluminum parts on the motor are nicely electrically connected to the rotor and thus the endmill so I drilled and tapped a tiny hole in the upper aluminum part to ground a probe wire. However, the body is also conductive when compressed in the clamps so I added a super thin layer of plastic tape between the black motor body and the clamp housings to insulate it and that works great, just needed to chamfer the clamp edges a bit. I'm able to achieve between ~330 to 9700 rpm with this motor. The rpm gets higher on the high end as it heats up which is sorta annoying so initially it only gets to ~9200 but once it warms up it can hit higher. Finally, just a note that the air intake at the top is pretty good at sucking in dust and depositing it deep inside the motor so if you're planning to cut dusty things like wood I'd recommend adding some sort of filter to the top intake.

El de 500W enrosca el portapinzas ER11 en el propio eje y el ventilador interno no vibra, muy estable. El de 600W ER16 tiene el portapinzas acoplado a un eje convencional y el ventilador es externo, mal equilibrado y vibra. A mejorar o cambiar. La potencia corresponde a los vatios, pero resulta superior a los husillos de 24.000 revoluciones.

I was disappointed with both the instructions being incomplete and mediocre aswell as the main component being the power cable/connector, and some positive and negative cables having been missing or not included which meant that it’s an in complete diy kit. Testing and turning it on will require me to buy more parts which I am not thrilled about.

This came missing both the POWER SUPPLY and missing HALF of the mount. Immediately put in for return 5 minutes after it was delivered. That's pretty bad to be missing the power supply, it probably is the heaviest part of what's in the box .
