Home Master Standard Loaded Undersink Reverse Osmosis System

Husband installed this under kitchen sink pretty easily. Only works for 1 sink, but that's all we needed for our purposes. Gives really pure drinking water that is a game changer, husband started regularly drinking water after installing this so I would say worth it. The tank is big enough where we don't ever run out of filtered water (2 adults and a teenage boy in home using it daily). We only use it for drinking water and water for espresso machine or making lemonade, and occasionally cooking but not always. Filter lasts at least a year before having to replace. Replacing the filter set is also fast and easy. We have really hard water in our home. No leaks or issues once installed.

I've installed and enjoyed using 3 of the Home Master filtration systems over the past 10 years in 3 different houses. If I move to a new house again, I will buy and install one there also. These systems are amazing - well made, easy to install with clear instructions, best tasting water I've ever had, and the one time I needed customer assistance I was really impressed by their prompt, courteous and thoughtful response. I had trouble with one part (could easily have been my fault) and submitted a request online for assistance. The helpful support tech called me on the weekend (after regular support hours) just to ask if I wanted help getting my filtration system working so I wouldn't have to be without it. He was very pleasant to work with and walked me through fixing my issue in about 10 minutes. I was up and running with perfect water in no time! I can't say enough good things about this company and their staff!!

We live in Florida in a rental house and the drinking water has so much chlorine that it burns your nostrils just at the smell of it coming out of the tap. Definitely not drinkable in my opinion. My husband bought this unit based on a similar product we had in NY that we had sulfur tasting water for. Took my husband about an hour to install and unless your a certified plum pier or really handy I recommend a professional install for this unit. My husband is plumber certified so it was simple for him to install. There is not trace of chlorine smell or taste in the water out of this tap it is amazing. We use this water for our dogs as well since the regular tap water killed one of my dogs. Apparently even a ton of chlorine does kill parasites in the water but actually makes some of them thrive. Had this filtered water tested before we drank it to make sure it was as advertised because I couldn’t go through making anyone in my house sick or another dog die. The sample tested had a clean slate I was shocked at how much this filter purified. I use this filter for everything, making ice, water for cooking and watering my plants. If they made one big enough to attach to my hot water heater I’d buy one in a second. We use it so much we purchased extra filters because we know we are using it more than was intended but well worth the price to help keep people and puppies healthy.

Over the years I had purchased two water filtration systems from different stores before buying the Tap Master. The experience with these two systems was less that satisfying and it left me wondering if I could even find a decent product! After the 2nd system broke down, i started the search for something better, and after reading countless reviews, I decided on the Tap Master system. We did not get the model that puts minerals back into the water, but the standard model. Bottom line, we LOVE the Tap Master! It supplies great clean water with no taste artifacts and MORE of it out the tap then any other system I have seen or used. The construction of the unit is top-notch and it just works with no gurgling noises, etc. Once I took a minute to understand the design, installing the system was a breeze. The instructions aren't perfect but more than adequete to put the system together in under an hour. I've had the system for six months now and it continues to work as well as the day it was installed. Are you frustrated with your water filtration system? I installed the Home Master TM Undersink Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System in Feb 2016, a month ago). When I turned it on the first time, it was leaking from every connection. The RO membrane (the blue cylinder) was leaking especially heavily. I turned it off and came back to it the next day, turned it on again and it leaked. I thought about just returning it for a refund, but the water tasted so great, I decided to tighten the connections myself. The leaks from all the other connections stopped without too much effort on my part. The RO membrane component was tougher. I don't know if I should have done this, but I took out my big wrenches and tightened and tightened and REALLY tightened. Finally, the leak stopped from the RO unit too. Truth told, I did not watch the installation video, since it was fairly simple readingthe manual, but maybe there was a different way to stop the leak than what I did. Maybe it stops on it's own due to its own internal pressure and/or time? I'm going to assume operator error. In any event, Total Dissolved Solids coming unfiltered from my tap were about 180 ppm. My Brita activated charcoal filter only reduces the TDS to about 170 ppm, but does improve the taste quite a bit. (Charcoal mainly reduces organic compounds, not metals, fluorides, etc.) Poland Springs TDS are about 25 ppm. This Home Master TM Undersink Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System reduces TDS to 12 PPM, about 95% lower than the tap, and the water now tastes like...water! Because that's what it is. I was thinking about giving 4 stars due to the initial leak, but it might actually be a normal part of the setup and I may have 'solved' a problem that didn't really exist. It's been a month, and I am very satisfied!

Easy to install and works great. I love the flow. I hooked my insta hot to the filter part but not the RO, that too works great. Love the water.

Missing 3/8" faucet adapter

I researched Reverse Osmosis systems for a while and decided the Home Master had the features that I wanted. I liked the fact that it was made in the USA and reviews said their customer support was very good and that is true. This was my first system to install and it was pretty straight forward with the written instructions and the videos online. It was a surprise that the unit was smaller and took up less room than I had envisioned which is a plus. I had one call to customer support and the question was answered quickly. The day I was running my last tank cleaning a representative , Eric, called to see if I had any questions and if I was satisfied with the product. You don't get that much anymore so it was appreciated. The water has a great taste and I would highly recommend this system.
