I have very short, thin, fine hair. It wouldn't hold a curl more than 5 minutes. This flatiron worked great. The curl stayed in for 2 days. This one sort of clamps your hair with the arm like a curling iron. You can close it at the roots, pull up just a bit and get lift without the curl. Or clamp and spin it like a curling iron for curls that can be finger combed into a messy style. I love it. Adjustable temperature, lock button for closing. I'm getting my hairdresser one for Christmas.

It heats up very quickly, the size is perfect for my hair, and it is not awkward to use. I can straighten or curl with ease. This product is an excellent value for the money and am glad I found it.

it's so good, but be aware when you set it to the highest temp.. quite too hot. but it get right in the thin tiny hairline .. and makes the look much cooler!
