Perfect for Average 2 Car Garage
Easy to install. Fired right up. No more worries about working on my car during Midwest winter months. Fully heated and comfortable to work in now.

Nice Heat machine
I’ve got a 24 by 24 attached garage and it took about 2 hours to increase the temperature about 20 degrees. Still playing with the temperature setting but I think once you get it to the room temperature you want it will maintain that temperature very nicely. Outside temperature is about 26. Great little unit so far and I’ll do more testing next week when it gets to 5 outside.

Not so HOT!!!
I wish I had read all the lower rating reviews before purchasing. The ad claims the following: “Wide Area Heating”, “27 FT Remote Coverage” and “Heating Cover Up To 1250 SQ FT” Wide area heating must be a personal definition that needs to be explained. I installed in my garage, just under 400 sq ft, and it does not do the job I thought it would. It definitely does not heat 1250 sq ft. If it does, it must take days to heat up. I have a very expensive insulated door and the garage and attic are all very well insulated. Here is a description of a test I ran to see how effective it was: Outside Temp 32 degrees, I set to 90 degrees and ran it for 3 hours 8:50a - 53 degrees in garage 10a - after 80 min and 36 degrees outside, 69 degrees in garage 10:50a - 43 degrees outside and 73 degrees in garage 11:50a - 46 degrees outside and 76 degrees in garage One thing about the temperature in the garage, the thermostat is mounted on the wall by the home entry door, at about 7 ft off the garage floor, or 4-5 ft from ceiling. It is warmer air in the upper area of the garage. As I take 3 steps down to the garage floor, the temperature drastically drops. Meaning, although the louvers are turned downward toward the floor, the hot air from the fan is not reaching the floor, and is only heating up the upper atmosphere of the room. I turned the unit back on to have run for another 5 hours. After 2 hours or running, outside temp is 49 degrees and inside garage is 79 degrees. It has taken almost 5 hours to heat up a small garage only 23 degrees. Seems like it should take only an hour or two at the most, to heat up such a small space, to where the temp inside the garage would be well into the upper mid to upper 80s, not 5 hours. 3 hour time did work and shut off as stated by company. That is my experience, and although it does emit heat, and the garage (upper atmosphere area) is warmer, the space near the floor, where I would be working, is still cooler. My assumption is it could take more than 24 hours in order to heat up and maintain anything in the 80s, considering the evening temps drop possibly into the 20 or lowers. We will see how things go come Jan/Feb. After this, my recommendation would be to go with a bigger unit than you think you need, especially if you are in a colder climate. UPDATE: Because the upper portion of the garage heats up faster than the lower portion and the heater doesn't heat up fast enough in order to heat the lower section, meaning the air closest to the floor, because the heater registers that the upper air is warmer and has reached the temperature that you've set, the unit will shut off, not continuing to heat the lower portion of the room or any part of the room. I would definitely not spend the money, or put it towards a better/bigger unit.

No product support
Products work fine but zero customer support. One of my remotes came without a legend label on it and after countless attempts to get label or new remote, zero response from sellers email or voicemail contact info. It would also be nice if the lowest setting went below 45 degrees for frost protect mode.

Great Work Shop Ceiling mounted space heater!
This was easy to mount up in corner of my garage and sometimes make-do ‘cold’ workshop area. What a Difference! ‘… not only HEAT but Quick HEAT in your work space makes! If you’re like me and a ‘do it myself’ type but without a dedicated comfortable warm shop…this is a great option.

Excellent 3 car garage heater!
This was the perfect garage heater for my needs. I wanted more than 5KW, but I didn't need or want the larger 10-12KW systems and I didn't want to spend the money to wire for a 60 amp load. This heater works perfect on a 30 amp load. I installed it in a single day (including running a new 240V 30amp line to the garage). I managed to get it installed a couple weeks before we got hit with a polar vortex and it was able to keep my 3 car garage at my set temp of 45 degrees Fahrenheit with little issues. If I am out working in the garage I can use the remote control and turn it up and the garage heats pretty quickly due to the nice air flow. I checked all of the internal wiring and overall the unit seems very good quality. It was definitely a great buy for the money.

Works great
I installed this in my 50×30 barn to try and heat it in Minnesota winters for use as a garage. Without insulation this is not happening. However, I was able to insulate a small portion of my barn. A room about 16'×12'. This heater keeps it cozy in there. And it isn't running constantly like a 15 or 20 amp model.

Cheap not worth the price or the risk
The product was damaged on delivery. After closer inspection it looks like the product was a return. The shipping box was in fine condition but the wrapping was removed off the items inside and parts where missing. There was no option for a replacement just a return. The item was purchased on a black Friday sale. So not only has the price gone up but so have all the similar items on Amazon. So I have lost out on sales items. Other then the damaged the product looks and feels very cheap and flimsy. There are parts rattling around on the inside. Just the cheap sheet metal used to assemble the product I would not recommend. The fact that I was sent a damaged product but the packaging was in great shape shows they either have no quality control on there products or dont care. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Remember this is a 40 amp heater that could cause a house fire.
