What an easy fix for a problem I had. I needed to set up a humidifier for auto fill and this was quick, simple and it works great! The tape marks are where the flow rate seems to shut down and the top mark is where it completely stops the flow. It's worked consistently for a couple of days so I have 💯 confidence in it.

I bought 3 of these to put at the end of the water system for our goats. It works exactly as it should and we haven't had any problems leaks. Easy to install and perfect size. When the eater gets up to a certain point the float inside stops the water from overflowing the buckets.

The best float valve ever. I made an outdoor hot tube/ shower system with the float attached to the water hose, use an immersion cooker to heat the water, it has been working perfectly in hot water for over a year.

UPDATED: changed my review back to four stars. The design of this valve requires you to clean out gunk about every 2 to 4 weeks is my guess. I believe everything needs to be cleaned now and then and this valve is no exception. One recommendation I have on the design that would make my review a five star is that the outer cap that needs to be removed should just be a quick screw on by hand. Right now it requires a small Phillips screwdriver which only takes about 30 seconds to undo to get to the internal parts that need to be flushed out. ——- I don’t normally do product reviews. After using this for about four months now I have to give up. It is stuck open four times now and caused my pond to overflow. I’ve done everything I believe possible to try to prevent this, but I believe the valve is faulty. Proceed cautiously forward if you’re using this.

This float valve is fantastic! It automatically shuts off the water flow once the desired level is reached, saving time and preventing overflows. The stainless steel design ensures durability, and installation was simple. A great investment for any water system.

This product fails. Starts fine and works fine but it will fail. I bought three bc the design seems good, but all three failed in my cistern. Clean water, reasonable pressure so no reason to fail. But they all did, costing me hundreds of dollars in overflowed water. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

I use this for my humidifier in the winter so i don't have to keep refilling it. It works, but will eventually fail and flood your house if you don't keep a close eye on it. They last for about a year

I didn't see any; however it was too big for my water trough so I had too go another route and did not use this product. I did hook it up and observed no leaks.
