Motons Regular Hair Relaxer, 64 Ounce

This relaxer does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It smooths well without excessive dryness when used properly. The 64 oz size is a great value and lasts a long time. I would definitely purchase again.

I have used Motions for years. I love the product. I have strong tangly coarse hair. Motions straightens my hair beautifully. It does not burn and hurt me too much if I don't scratch and irritate my scalp before perming. I am pleased with it.

This relaxer really works for my hair I’ve used it for yrs, ladies once you find a relaxer that works stick with that brand for me it’s motions all the way , this relaxer is regular strength so it will allow you some time to break down the hair if using super you must work a little faster if doing it yourself make sure to use base to protect your forehead ears back of neck and scalp area please do not scratch your head before using Any Type Of Relaxer, Thanks Again Motions!!

Oldie but goodie

I used this to retouch my new growth after waiting 3 months from getting my hair highlighted, and 2 months from my last color retouch. I naturally have 3B curly hair and usually use the no-lye regular strength kind of relaxer for a shorter processing time to achieve a Tex-lax but I love that this strength will allow me more application time and that lye relaxers are supposed to be less drying on your hair. left it on for the 10-12 minute range on the new growth and it worked as described, a slight tingle on the scalp but no irritation, damage or burn like I had feared from a lye relaxer. The strength did not cause breakage and was mild enough to straighten my roots but still afford them some “bounce” which I prefer instead of being super flat against my scalp. I used the motions sulfate-free ph neutralizing shampoo afterwards which I also highly recommend.

The worst relaxer I have ever used. Made my hair more coarse than before I put it on. Horrible!!!

Great product I have mix hair which is quite straight, naturally and is also fine but it is Afro - textured hair. I used this product as I do not like relaxers and researched the best products to use. It is mild so its perfect for my hair. I think if your hair is thick and dense curls this would not be the best product to use. I left it on for 10-mins only. No breakage. My hair is quite long so this is very important. No shampoos or applications so get gloves etc... I rinsed my hair thoroughly then used Neutralising shampoo and Argon conditioner which I left in for 5 mins - to keep hair soft. I am not sure if I would use regularly. Maybe evry 6-7-months.

Its not for coarse or very tough hair
