Puzzle Case

Every positive comment made previously about this portable puzzle board and carrier is 100% true. It is well made, they have thought of everything, the pieces slide nicely on the board. The sorting trays work great. I don't wish to parrot what people have already said, I just want to emphasize how practical and awesome this product is. There is nothing to assemble, everything is there and ready to use. Makes this hobby a total joy. Like many others, I too have a cat and I take my puzzle to different locations using this product. No problems with anything, only pleasure. You can pack everything up without disturbing anything in a minute and use your dining room table again. Pop it in the car and go. Stores easily using very little space. The puzzle board stays in place with the corner straps or detaches completely to use on the couch or wherever. So versatile. They have thought of everything and every scenario. Worth every penny.

I like doing puzzles in the winter - but I also have a very small house and 3 cats who think puzzles are toys or snacks. I don’t have a dedicated place for a larger puzzle table nor can I leave puzzles out even if I did. I use to have a similar product but it snapped closed and had built in trays and everything would shift and it popped open all the time and things fell out of it. This one is significantly better. First of all it’s pretty big. The hard tray you do the puzzle on is good quality and not just cardboard. It has a lipped edge and fully removes from the case and is felted so pieces don’t slide around. The tray system is brilliant with 6 trays that slide out and have individual slots they slide in to. I’m on my second puzzle now and have had no problems. I put it fully away when I am done every time and store it leaning upright between a wall and the back of my desk. It is snug enough that nothing moves. When opening it to work on it more I unzip it to find it exactly as I left it. My ONLY comment is the zipper is a little tight especially closing around the corners. It probably has to be to keep things snug but I wish it was a bit smoother. Still, go gently and it should be fine. I do think it’s a little overpriced but it works really well so I’m willing to overlook that. It’s a great solution for puzzle lovers with limited space and pets.

I was worried because there were some mixed reviews, but I was very pleased from the moment i pulled it out. It feels like a good quality bag, and it has even more slots and organizational capability than I realized. Despite all the pictures, I didn't notice it opens like a folder and essentially has an insert/tab. So there is the bottom part where the actual tray sits in, and it has elastic on each corner to hold it in place there, and that side of the insert that rests on the puzzle board is a big felt covered pillow. When you rest that pillow face down, the other side of the insert is the nylon material and has 6 slots that perfectly fit the 6 trays. The other end of the case folds over that, so you essentially have space there like a folder where you could store completed puzzles (assuming they had backing/glue) secured with straps they provide. The 6 trays are two different colors and can either lay flat or be snapped to create edges - those can fit in the slots with the edges up to maintain your sorting AND you can also put pieces inside a another velcro secured pocket on the back of each little tray. That is in the pictures but I again missed it and was really pleased. The board is also spacious enough that I can sort average and smaller puzzles right on the board if that's how I feel like doing it. I really like that it has an edge all the way around so I don't push any of the puzzle off the edges like I did on my previous flat board. We're still dealing with jigsaw puzzle pieces though - no equipment is going to magically change the nature of these small light weight pieces - so if you're not careful they can be moved, flicked, flipped or blown out of place. I use this all over, including on my couch which is a sectional with an ottoman. It is huge and not totally firm, so I have to hold it with two hands to move it around when a puzzle is underway or it will kind of bend or flex. It is super light though, so it is comfortable to have it on my lap, I just have to prop the sides or they sag down a little. This is the second (and much more expensive) board I've tried and I should have just gone for it the first time. It is well worth the money if you like to work on puzzles!

Very high quality materials. This board makes it very easy to move partially completed puzzles around for convenience. The felt is smooth and even, allowing pieces to fit together snugly.

I purchased the 1000 piece sized puzzle board and I am loving it so far! The puzzle pictured is a 750 piece puzzle. The board is sturdy and the pieces do not slide around. The small foldable bins that come with work great for helping to sort pieces and can be stored inside the cover. There is also a Velcro pouch on the bins, to store your sorted pieces in if you choose. When I need to move or store the puzzle the cover zips around it and holds it in place so it can be stored vertically, especially at night to keep my pets from bothering it. I also really liked the idea of being able to transport my puzzle. My only complaint is the board isn’t big enough to have puzzle pieces on the side but that is my own error for not ordering the larger size. Even though it’s kind of expensive, if you’re an avid puzzle doer I highly recommend.

Puzzles pieces stay in place and sorting trays are a game-changer!

This jigsaw carrier and board is so useful as I previously had a 1500 board and carrier of another make, which was so heavy and cumbersome, I found it almost unusable, but this one is so much lighter and much easier to move about and keeps all the uncompleted jigsaw pieces well in place if closed and moved to another location and back again. The previous carrier and board didn't do this. The padding inside this carrier is excellent and I can see why every jigsaw piece remains much in the same spot on transportation meaning I never have to worry about having to piece bits back together again. This carrier is expensive, but it does do the job. I have read reviews complaining about the zippers, but have found them not to be a problem when taking reasonable care. Dont rush zipping up, just like clothes you can get it caught on the lining occasionally, but most of the time its fine.
