The best coffee ever. Un-abashed!

This is my favorite coffee! We have a subscription, which we have had for some time. I didn’t realize that it was high caffeine, until a friend told me. It doesn’t make me jittery at all and the taste is smooth.

My new favorite espresso. The flavor is a chocolatey caramel hue. Strong coffee flavor without bitterness. I don't know how they did it!!! Love that it's organic too. These beans are dark and fresh. They grind well. Also, it doesn't not upset my GI tract, if you catch my drift. I use it in my Moka pot and it's so yummy. I'm honesty so happy to have given Death Wish a try.

Highly caffeinated and good flavor. On the darker flavor side

WEll!! Color me impressed!! If this coffee were just a little smoother, and a little darker, then it would totally rival mine own Napoli Stye home roast. Napoli Roast is that wonderful ultra-dark cofdfee you usually only see at Italian Restaurants and is almost impossible to procure in the states, so I learned to make it. I've tried so hard to find anything else like my favorite coffee (Including virtually every dark roast Lavazza).. This blend comes the closest, but it is a tiny bit sharp in comparison.. The beans are so very fresh and just covered in that lovely coffee oil. One cup will definitely get you up and going and full of energy and fully functional for the day, and it sits well on the stomach.. Two cups and you will be lying in bed stairing at the ceiling at 3am going, "Ummmm That ceiling really needs painting.. Might as well get up and DUIT TUIT!!!!!" {Chuckles}. Mama Mia~!! That'sa Tha' Stuff!!! The smell of it brewing is heady and strong.. You KNOW... that you will get a good cupper out of it fromt he fragrance alone. The price as higher than I like to pay, but they don't short change you and the coffee is of very good quality. I also find it to be excellent for blending with other coffies for use in my percolator, so it is versatile as well.

My favorite coffee. Strong with a great flavor

Caffeine doesn't work for me, so when I heard about Death Wish, I was intrigued because I wondered if a higher dosage of caffeine would finally do the trick without having to drink 6 cups of coffee. After seeing the high rating on Amazon, I went ahead and bought, but ultimately, not sure how this got such glowing reviews. I can't say much about the strength of the espresso for myself, as this didn't give me that caffeinated pep in my step that I thought it might, but for my friend, he said it was about the same as any other coffee-- he didn't feel anymore caffeinated than usual (he drank 2 shots in a latte). However, even if this had given us super caffeine powers, can't say we'd want to keep drinking it anyway. In terms of flavor, it's incredibly bitter and strong while lacking in any complexity. It's reminiscent of when you're a child tasting coffee for the first time and wondering why the hell adults drink it. The smell of the beans and coffee is not bad, but definitely also lacking. Ultimately, this coffee is on par with coffee you get from any big generic coffee chain. The price isn't awful in comparison, but it's just not worth it. Wish I done a bit more research online first, because many of the reviews say the same. It's a hard pass for me and I will never be buying from this brand again.
