It was the right size and it works well.

It fit just fine. I was concerned since my original handle had a 3" screw and they supplied 1" screws, but they hollowed out the handle much further down, so the new screws worked just fine. The shaft will be a bit weaker than the original, but if you use it with a twisting motion (like a corkscrew or screwdriver) and not a crank (like a bicycle pedal), my guess is that it should hold up well.

These were just what I needed to make those darn vents where I could reach them to open and close them. At 5'2", I struggled to reach the handle to open and close the vents in the RV. I bought these and installed them myself. It was great not to have to get the stool out to open or close the vent! Great value, sturdy, and easy to install.

This is a perfect replacement handle for older crank style windows from the 1970’s. It does the job. If you have an old window that is hard to open, this is plastic, so any resistance will cause it to break. If you have not opened the window in a while, it might not hold up to forcing the window open. If that’s the case, I suggest once open, properly lubricate the parts and check the glass for anything that would stick the slats together. That happened to me when I purchased only one in a home improvement store. So after getting the window open, I cleaned and lubricated all parts. Then put on another handle. You shouldn’t need to use force if you do this properly and open and maintain the window every once in an while. Amazon gives you two handles in case this happens.

Just what I needed. We have an older mobile home with crank out windows. The handles strip after awhile and these work great to replace them!
