Works fantastic and would definitely recommend
Bought this for our 2019 Mallard M180. It's a 23 foot camper. Works fantastic. Recently did a 4 day trip and the temps at night dropped to 32 degrees. This actually kept the trailer too warm. The thermostat control for it doesn't go below about 70 degrees. The upside there is it kept the camper very warm and didn't have to use propane. But since we prefer it a bit cooler at night we only used it during the day and switched to propane at night. Now our camper is very well insulat d with 2" walls and the underside insulated. So that might be what helps it work so well. Like others have said the air coming out of it does not feel that warm but it doesn't really need to since we just let the fan run 24/7 anyway for the noise and it stayed plenty warm inside. Wish the unit allowed for a lower temp setting but that's more of a problem with unit as a whole and not this heating element. Installation was super simple even though the instructions are a bit lacking. Only took about 10 minutes to install. It really is just removing the cover, screwing this in, and plugin the wire. Nothing else to figure out and no wires to strip. I would definitely recommend getting this.

RV heat strip repair
This was an easy replacement and the directions were easy to follow. My heat works great now in my RV bedroom now as it should.

Great product -even upside down
We could not be happier with our bilge heater. It would not fit in the small space with pvc and plastic hoses. Because of it’s design and features we were able to mount it on the hatch lid eliminating those issues. Ran during the night - everything was 46 degrees and heater was always cool to the touch. They will go in all my boats. Thank. Tom

Once it heats up, it’s great.
This same item at the RV store was $219, so I decided to try this one. It was easy to install. When I turned it on, luke warm air came out of the vent and I was confused as to why it didn’t feel warmer. It was about 24 degrees out and actually took a little while to heat up my gaming trailer. You could feel the warmth after about 30 minutes. So the bottoms line is, don’t expect to feel major heat blowing out the unit, but it will heat up your space.

Easy installation into a Keystone Bullet 250BHS - comes out warm - not dragons breath
We just got back from camping in Mississippi where it got down to below freezing each night. We tried to use a ceramic heater and a oil finned heater to stay warm and it just barely did the job. So when I got back, I looked into this neat little product. Installation was simple, 2 screws at each end of my vent, plus remove the knobs and the plastic panel came down. I did not see any dip switches so I just plugged it up and re-assembled. Now it definitely comes out warm, but its not dragons breath and won't beat the propane furnace. But I can absolutely tell you I would have loved to had this electric strip during this past stay. Its currently 54 F outside and after running for only about 15 minutes, the master bedroom was much warmer than the rest of the camper. Best of all, I got it for 44% off, so for $52 I am not complaining. Pulls roughly 17 amps, so I can use this on a standard 20A outlet if I have guests that need to sleep in the camper during Thanksgiving when my house is packed.

It works on the older ones too.
I was looking for a heat strip for my Brisk air (1, not 2) AC unit, and both numbers listed on my unit are out of stock or not being sold anymore. Apparently these heat strips can create a fire hazard if you let your AC unit get all full of dust, bees, crickets and birds. Anyway, since the connector was the same, I ordered this part. Installed in about an hour. Needed to drill 4 holes for the screws, and another hole in the metal flashing for the cord to go through. installed a rubber grommet as well to protect the cord. Result? It works like a champ. Puts out 90 degrees with 60 degree ambient temperature, and the part where the heat strip sits is only 5 degrees warmer than the rest of the cover. 70 vs 75 degrees.

Great and easy to install
YouTube video is not needed. I did watch one but the instructions are good enough. As long as you can take the cover off you know how to remove screws. The plug it in and put the screws back. Even with the propane heater it is great to have if you run out of propane. It can quickly take the chill out of the air.

Plug and play
Great addition to the camper. This will help save on propane. It was a plug and play setup. Puts out some heat!

I bought a “Like new” one for $77 and couldn’t be happier, it was literally new and works great. It was incredibly easy to install, especially after watching a YouTube video on it. Took me maybe 15 to 20 minutes. Since there’s no thermostat on the unit, you basically have to turn it on when you’re cold, and turn it off when you’re warm… I just use it to warm up our room, since it’s installed in our smaller, secondary a/c unit above our bed. I slide the doors closed, warm up the room, then go to bed.

Just like having a heat pump that will work in colder temperatures

Easy to install - as long as your dometic unit has spot to plug into. Works well on generator but better on full power. Happy with this purchase. Let’s see how long it lasts running all winter.

I’m not a handy person but install was still incredibly easy and quick with the help of an excellent YouTube video I had found. Took me about 10 minutes. The heat element itself works great, I can’t understand how some reviewers would be disappointed with the heat output. I own a Palomino Real Lite 180 travel trailer and this device heats up the trailer very quickly and efficiently. And that’s where the only problem I see with this comes in - you can’t regulate the temperature. It’s on or off. So my 20ft trailer becomes an oven within 10minutes. Hence it doesn’t really offer an alternative to the gas furnace while on shore power. It’s great to heat up the trailer quickly and then switch to the gas heater but you wouldn’t be able to turn it on and go to bed as it’d be way too hot in the trailer quickly.

Easy hookup in the dometic Air conditioning unit in our pop up trailer. Heat works very well for those chilly nights and mornings when camping.
