Used this in a pond and it did the job

Love that it is easy to install. Tested drainage with water hose and sure there will be no problems when the rain comes. Plastic and only 4 parts to put together. Solid accordion style drain pipe. (Picture shows a short shovel and overkill on digging since I was trying to find the old underground PVC pipe.)

I buried these just above grass level. Smaller footprint was less effort to install. I will see how they work when we get a hard rain. The larger boxes have never been a problem.

I brought this product to drain water from our home. We live on a slight hill, so getting stagnated water away from my home is important. Anyway, I love the way it look and it’s easy to assemble. The draw back is where it drains the water. I didn’t think about it when I was looking at the image (which gives a great insight on the product). If the part that collects water is below the drain section you can be left with standing water would draw mosquitoes. In order to make this work, the pan must be higher that the end of the pipe and the pipe need to be at the point of the slope to drain water way from my foundation and home.

These downspout connectors work fabulous! We ordered a couple more after putting these to use. They work especially well where the downspout hits concrete over a walkway. Easy to move when needed, and then put right back when done.

Still working really good after a year

This was a PERFECT solution for being able to drain our kiddie pool duck pond. The hose connection that came with the pool was not good, but this lets is just open the pool drain so it empties into the downspout and runs into the French drain we installed. The drain cover also prevents the ducks from stepping in it. So it's an unconventional use for the product, but works EXACTLY as we'd hoped.

I returned them, never used them.
