works as advertised
Great power supply. The volts and amps are able to be fine tuned. I love it. Its not that large and bulky and puts out the power you need without making alot of noise. Has all the functionality I want and is a great value. I definitely recommend it if you are the diy type and have use for this sort of item. I got it to restore a dead tool battery but now that I have it, i have many other ideas on where to use it. Love it.

Pretty good, small annoyances
Awesome little bench supply. The rotary encoder dials are a little annoying to use since sometimes they seem to skip and I'm never quite sure whether it will go up by the smaller amount or larger amount. Usually if I can get it in the ball park I can go super slowly to tweak though so it's just kinda an annoyance. Otherwise works as designed and provides a nice supply voltage for any breadboard/prototyping/diagnostic work you might need.

Good for general purpose, but do not use around high-voltage supplies
Up until today I would’ve given five stars. It seem to be a great cheap bench top power supply. but I learned that it is not stable when within 3 feet of high-voltage discharge. I was designing a new 40kv power supply that runs on 12 V. Naturally, I was powering it with the power supply, and the other end of the HV power supply was being discharged into a spark gap. The spark gap gave off enough RF energy from a few feet away, that it caused the power supply to almost instantaneously raise the voltage from 12 V up to the full 60 V and burn out the majority of the power circuit that I was designing, at first I didn’t know what happened, so I rebuilt the whole circuitboard and tried it again and this time I actually witnessed the voltage go up on the power supply without me even touching it. That tells me it is not very well shielded….

Shows amperage being consumed.
After you set voltage and current it displays actual voltage and current output and the voltage setpoint as a reference. Perfect for reviving old batteries.
