Bright and works great
Fit perfectly. 10 times brighter than the original bulb that came with the flashlight.

Perfect replacement
So much brighter and the crisp white light is so much nicer than the dingy yellow it was.

Works great for conversion!
Followed the directions and took out the old bulb and in with the new. Wow, what a nice, white and bright bulb compared to the previous one! It works great and should also conserve energy from the draw on the batteries.

Easy upgrade but not as bright as expected.
I recently upgraded my Mag Lite with the Compatible Mag Lite LED Conversion/Upgrade Bulb, and here are my thoughts: **Installation:** The installation process was very easy. I simply replaced the old bulb with this LED upgrade, and it fit perfectly in my 2D cell Mag Lite. There were no special tools or complicated steps required, making the upgrade process quick and straightforward. **Performance:** While the brightness of this LED bulb is adequate for most purposes, it was not as bright as I had anticipated. It provides a noticeable improvement over the original incandescent bulb, but it falls short of the high lumen output I expected from a 300LM bulb. It’s still a solid improvement, just not as brilliant as I hoped. **Overall:** Despite the brightness not being quite as high as I expected, this LED conversion bulb is a worthwhile upgrade for any Mag Lite user. The ease of installation and the improvement in light quality over the original bulb make it a good choice. If you're looking for a simple way to boost the performance of your flashlight, this LED upgrade is a decent option.

Amazing!
This little light bulb replacement turned my two cell Mag-Lite flashlight into a beacon of super bright light. The difference is amazing. Where I could only see a few dozen feet before I can now clearly see objects a hundred + feet away without a problem. Big Wow!

I have seen the light and this is the light to update old MagLites.
Since the advent of COB LED's, my Mag Lites have been obsolete and put out of service. The bulb is pricey, but I weighed the cost of the bulb against the loss of the MagLite and decided that the value of the MagLite with an extreme bulb was worth the cost. The bulb was very easy to install and the results exceeded my expectations. It is bright and you don't want to look directly into to it to find out how much. To get the most out of this bulb, you must focus the MagLite so that it concentrates the beam without leaving a darker spot in the middle. While the MagLite focus feature was innovative and useful, it is unnecessary with this bulb. The light spread outside the "hot spot" is more than bright enough to illuminate a larger area. Buy the bulb: see the light.

Change your 3v, 2-Cell Maglite into 5.2v-5.7v with this bulb!
Please see pictures. Before I explain how to change your 3v, 2-Cell Maglite into a 5.2v-5.7v flashlight, let me explain why you need this specific LED bulb: The important thing about this LED is it will handle much more than 3v and it is much brighter with more voltage (duh). I tried this with 2 other brands of 3v LED’s (“TRLIFE Maglight LED Bulbs DC 3V, Maglight Replacement Bulbs for Only 2 Cells C&D Maglight Flashlights,” and “LudoPam LED Ugrade Bulb Compatible for Maglite Flashlight 2 Cell C/D”) and it burnt-out the LED because it was too much power. For some reason it is not a problem with this LED even though it is only rated for 3v. I also tried an LED rated for up to 6-Cells (“Swess Light Led Conversion Kit for Maglite LED Conversion Kit, 3W DC 4-12V LED Flashlight Bulbs for MagLite 3-6 Cell C/D Flashlights”) but it wasn’t much brighter than a 3v LED; most likely because 5.7v is on the low end of its capacity. That is why you need this LED to pull-off this trick. How to: As you can see in the pictures, the red 14500 AA size lithium rechargeable battery is rated for 3.7v, but in reality, it produces up to 4.2v and 4.0v for most of the charge. When combined with a traditional 1.5v D battery, they produce about 5.5v for most of the charge. This may sound obvious, but a 3xD-Cell Maglite is only 4.5v and it takes a 4xD-cell Maglite flashlight to produce 6v. So, 5.5v is closer to a 4xD-cell Maglite than a 3xD-cell and MUCH more than a 2xD-cell 3v flashlight. 1) Buy a 14500 lithium battery. Amazon doesn’t currently sell the exact battery in the pictures, but any 14500 size lithium battery should work, as long as they are button-top. I also doubt you need rechargeables. Disposables should also work as long as they 14500 size which is the same size as AA batteries. 2) Buy a AA to D size adapter as shown in the pictures. Unfortunately you can only do this with 1 battery and it must be the 1st battery, not the 2nd/end battery. This is because the large spring at the end of a Maglite flashlight won’t make contact with the tiny negative terminal of a AA to D adapter. That is why the adapter battery must be inserted FIRST, as shown in the pictures. 3) Change the LED bulb to this bulb and assemble your “2xD-cell” Maglite as shown.

Insane distance and focus, get one for your mag lite, never imagined it would be as bright for as far as you can pin point it.

Lots of mixed reviews on this item, but this particular one rates higher than most other models. Light output not as much as I hoped, but frankly better than expected! I literally just installed it last night, time will tell if bulb reliability or battery life concerns will cause me to change my review later. For the moment, I believe I paid a fair price for the improvement in brightness - and I imagine that battery life if anything should improved with the LED vs conventional bulb. Will edit review as I get more use out of my flashlight, but unless something changes - 5 stars.

Nice white bright light. Highly recommend.

These are ok, but comparing them with an LED Maglite of the same number of batteries, and shining the same size beam on a wall, they are definitely and clearly not as bright. I am satisfied with it though.
