Good design, good price and non of them were defected. All worked and everyone was happy to get it.

I needed something Scout-ish - if that's a word... hhhhmmm-- at any rate, They were meant to be a gift someone would just admire and put up as a display. I didn't care if they worked. But these things really work. You have to calibrate some of them but wow, really nice instrument. I put the club logo on each of them and, I gotta say, they look great. Shiny and significant for a club. I'm getting more of these.

11 work fine but one of them points wherever you aim it instead of north I cant find an option to fix this problem without returning them all so I guess I'm gona eat the loss.

Purchased for my granddaughter‘s 8th birthday party that’s coming up and we were so thrilled with the workmanship and contents and the way they glow in the dark. These are sure to be a hit with the young people who are attending the escape room in the ship wrecked experience!!

These all appear to work! They are beautiful, much nicer to look at than the boring ones you would find in a store. I plan to give them as gifts to my kids and grandchildren.

I got these as an end of year gift for my students but I have to buy gift boxes because these compasses don’t come in individual boxes like the product photo shows. They are cute and I will use them anyway but I was disappointed to see they did not come with their own box.

Looks nice. Great outer finish. Lacking in a few ways. The bow/loop that you would attach a lanyard to is attached inconsistently, facing different directions on each compass. The bezel does not turn smoothly. The reason appears to be multiple dents around the circumference. I was able to fix some with a tiny flathead screwdriver. The needles seem to have a bit of a curve to them and the compass is very shallow so it is a challenge to get them to rotate freely without getting stuck. In other words, hard to make it point north. The glow in the dark features are bright and useful for night navigation provided you charge them in some light first. Anyone having issues with this or any magnet not pointing north, be sure the issue isn't just declination between true north and magnetic north.
