The first thing I will say about this is that this is NOT a thunderbolt cable. It is a type c charging cable. It will work for mac but will not work for thunderbolt purposes so be aware of that. This is a pretty nice replacement or spare cable. It is slightly thinner than your OEM cable but hardly noticeable. It does yellow like the mac cable if left in the light so be aware of that. The cable is solid. It is does not get easily damaged over time with things like neck fraying. First thing I will say about this is that this cable can handle the charging of the newer type c mac book air or pro. It can be plugged in either end to being charging the device. Although this is not a thunderbolt cable, you can still use this cable it on my phone and hard drive, the average read and write speed was around 120 MB/s which is not too bad but it all depends on the type of device. It does support fast charging with the correct plug which is nice. It is nice you have the option of using it as a transfer cable if you absolutely needed to. It also can work well with dongles that you can plug into your mac. The cable is again less thicker than your OEM cable but it is very hard to tell. It is still a very sturdy cable. There is no cable tie so you will need to purchase that separately if needed. The material makes it look very similar to the OEM cable. The neck as well has a thick flexible material that makes it easy to bend the neck but also protects it from getting frayed like many other cables that I have had in the past. It does generate a little bit of heat during charge at least on the main cable. Speaking of the ends, the tips is made strong material. Again it does support fast charging and does a good job handling all the energy; however, be aware that you will need to have the correct charger to get the fast charging capability. Without the correct charger, you just get the standard charging. The same goes for the mac. If you do not have the right mag charger you either will charge slow or not at all so make sure the appropriate charger is used. The white cable is prone to sun damage so careful leaving this out in direct sun light as it will actually go into a yellow color. Overall I think these two cables are awesome and a good replacement/spare cable for your mac. It is made of very durable material and I can easily take this with me on the go. It is the same length as a mac cable and supports fast charging with the correct charger. It is able to charge my macbook without much issue. I have not seen any issues with charging with this vs the OEM cable.

This product works good

I needed a reliable USB-C to USB-C charging cable, and this one seemed like a good choice, but honestly, it’s just okay. It does the job—my phone charges, and I haven’t had any major issues with it stopping or failing. But for the price, I was expecting something a little more premium. The cable feels a bit flimsy, and while it hasn't broken yet, I can tell it’s not going to last as long as some of my other charging cables. The charging speed is decent but not the fastest I’ve seen, and I feel like it could be more efficient. It works fine for everyday use, but if you’re looking for something super durable or high-speed, you might want to consider other options. I’ll keep using it for now, but I probably wouldn’t repurchase.
