My mom has a star she puts out in the front yard every year for Xmas. She re-did the tinsel strand on the star, and wanted to get new lights. She was about to pick up a basic strand of lights from some store and I stopped her and said "Let me see what I can find online". I have a lot of experience in film/video/photo and LED's have changed the lighting game. So I found this set on Amazon and the price was good. We ordered them and put them on our star. WOW! My mom is excited that she can choose any color she wants, plus different multicolor combinations, and effects on top of that. The lights are definitely bright enough and the colors and different effects look great. I like the built in timer options on the remote so it will turn off automatically when the night is over. We just put our star up today and are waiting to see what it will look like for the first time at night. But I recorded this video in the garage after getting them installed on the star so you can see how good they look. The 66ft length with 200 LED's was perfect for our star. We were able to go around it 3 times (I used zip ties instead of candy-caning the wire around the metal). I used crimp-on wire connectors to extend the power cable so that it will go all the way to our house without an AC extension cord. This way the power unit and effects-control box will be inside and not out in the weather. I like them so much it makes we want to buy another set and do our porch or windows with. If you're on the fence about buying these, don't be. They're worth the couple dollars more to choose the colors/effects you want in a few seconds. I could see someone installing these on their house and then being able to just use the remote to change the look for different seasons. They're that versatile. You can do a normal Christmas color combo, they also have a spring/easter combo, a RWB for 4th of July, Orange/Purple for Halloween, and then Green/Red and White/Red for Xmas, or a White/Blue for a wintery non-Xmas look. Plus all the individual colors. They don't do straight Yellow the best, but that's not a big deal for us. If you specifically need yellow for your project, look for a strand that just does Yellow, as the LED bulbs will be specialized for that color.

These Dazzle Bright 500 LED string lights are a great purchase. The quality is fantastic, and I love that there are several different lighting modes to choose from it’s easy to switch up the look whenever I want. They’ve held up really well through rain and snow so far, with no dimming or issues at all. I’d definitely purchase these again if I needed more, but honestly, they feel like they’ll last a long time. Really happy with these lights!

I purchased a string of 500 Dazzle lights at Christmas time and was very pleased with the quality and intensity of color with them. Generously covered my full 7-foot tree. Enjoyed them so much, that I purchased a second strand for an additional tree next Christmas.

These lights are ABSURD. Not “festive.” Not “cute.” ABSURD. The moment I plugged these in, my neighborhood entered what I can only describe as a mild optical event. Cars slowed down. People stopped walking. Somewhere, Santa paused mid-flight, took a selfie, and tagged my house. 🎅📸 “#Blessed” Let’s talk about length. You get 328 feet of lights. That’s not a string — that’s a commitment. Then I realized you can plug another set into the end. Two sets? Congratulations, you now own roughly 600 feet of Christmas. That’s not decorating, that’s zoning approval. The brightness is unhinged. Like: “Are these legal?” “Can the ISS see this?” “Did I just summon elves?” The spool they come on? Chef’s kiss. This thing will last for YEARS. No tangled nightmare. No wrestling match next November. Future-me already sent a thank-you card. The remote works through my window. Through. The. Window. And it has a timer. Meaning I don’t have to remember anything ever again. The lights come on, do their thing, turn off, and I go on living my life like a responsible adult with dazzling priorities. Modes? Oh yes. Do I wish I could lock specific colors? A little. But honestly? The green/blue combo is so good I forgave everything. The rest of the modes are like a Christmas rave Santa definitely wasn’t invited to but showed up anyway. This is one step below app control — and frankly, that’s fine. Good price in comparison to similar lights. I bought these because it was one string. Some others advertise the same length, but are two strings half the length. The remote is nice. I'm tired of wifi control and apps for everything. The remote is simple and easy to use. If you lose the remote there is a button on the string that you can cycle through the various colors. One area of improvement - sell this on a reel. There is no way to manage 328 ft of string lights without a reel. The lights were packaged okay and maybe it is possible to unravel without creating a tangled mess, but I couldn't manage it. I'd easy pay another $15-$20 to have this shipped on a reel, ready to install on the tree. I've only had up for a couple days, but the lights look great. I used this product 328 ft for a 9-10 foot tree. I went around the tree 3 times - lots of lights! Enough to have a deep and shallow string for depth.

These are as good as I thought if your buying for uk you’ll need a step down transformer which I’d learnt from previous mistake .lovely colours for the tree very impressive
