Honestly wish I got this sooner!!! Very helpful tool & easy instructions & assembly!

I have a small pottery wheel but I do a decent amount of mug making that I sell locally. I have been trying to learn tap centering but always end up frustrated and to small movements to get the pieces as centered as possible when trimming but it always takes time. This has been a huge time saver and was really easy to set up and start using right away. I like this specific model because it easily fits on my wheel with the bat pins. I am using a Shimpo Aspire and this works perfectly with the existing setup with nothing else needed.

It helps to center your Greenware quickly and easily, and prevent your piece from moving out of position when trimming. Real time saver.

I have had the regular size Giffen grip for many years and have loved it and will continue to use it, but this little one is so handy for so many things, especially little plates, mugs, & little bowls. Actually, I think everybody should have both sizes in their studio.

I used to hate the trimming process because it would take a long time for me to center anything. This makes it so much easier and I wish I would have purchased one of these sooner. I will say that if you tighten the grips too much, they will dent your work...but I chalked it up to user error.

This is a great tool for trimming pieces with ease. It centers your piece as well and trimming is a pleasure and so much faster.

I treated myself to this and I’m really enjoying it. Perfect for quick removal of pieces when tooling and makes tooling so much quicker. This is good for smaller pieces. Perfect for mugs.
