Sofrito 16 Oz

This has honestly been the best non homemade sofrito I've had. I refuse to use any other brand when I'm making my pasteles. I wish I could find this brand in stores, but I will happily keep buying it. Thank you for such a great flavorful sofrito that has no filler or junk ingredients like pig fat, msg etc.

Arrived in perfect condition. Smells and tastes just like the way my grandmother made it. When I moved from New York to Texas, I had to grow aji dulce and culantro to make my own sofrito because it's really hard to find those ingredients here. We had a harsh winter and my plants died, so no ingredients to make sofrito until I found this on Amazon. Thank you so much for selling this!!!

To me, this is better than the fresh sofrito I grew up with in Puerto Rico. Milder and richer in flavor. Makes my chop meat taste like heaven. Looks and smells home made, like the real thing. A must try. I find it a little expensive so I alternate with the second best choice available from Goya, which doesnt add that much flavor.

I’m not sure if I simply got a bad batch . But the taste is not good.. I threw it out. I wasn’t the only one, 2 others said the same, it wasn’t good. I’m sorry to have to write this, but perhaps you can use the information to figure out what the product needs to be up to standard. Then we can gladly try it again.

AMAZING sofrito! Tastes just like I’d expect it to if I made it myself! I’ve ordered it 2 or 3 times and it has come in great condition every time! Not sure why this doesn’t have 5 stars! I’ve bought other Sofrito and it wasn’t good. This is excellent! I have made picadillo and Arroz Con Pollo using this. Perfect!

Growing up this was made regularly at home. Where I currently live a few ingredients are hard to come by. This was a pleasant suprise and a very welcome substitute. Very close to what I remember and dishes I cook are as flavorful as ever. Highly recommend if you are unable to make your own.

I received this item promptly. The taste is good but too heavy on the onion and peppers. I do not taste the cilantro and culantro much. Some what disappoint and wish the company could improve on their recipe so It could be more balanced.

This has recao in it aka culantro. It’s the best sofrito I can find. I can’t find the ingredients in my area to make my own.
