Power Beets' cardiovascular benefits are well-documented, and it has been a part of my daily supplement routine for many years. Recently, I quit caffeine and decided to begin using Power Beets as the base for a "DIY" stim-free pre-workout. I mix it up 1/2 gallon (4 servings) at a time as pictured. It is very good on its own, but it also serves as a great base to add other unflavored raw supplements, as Power Beets has so much flavor and mixes very well. Thanks to Power Beets, I get a very potent stim-free pre-workout for ~$1 per serving. My current recipe is pictured.

So I mixes with 30 ounces of water and the taste is good. You definitely can taste the beets which I hate, but the fruit flavors make it good. I have no idea whether this is doing a darn thing for me, but I’m gonna keep drinking it until I fulfill the contract :-)

I’ve been using this product for years. So this was a repeat purchase. I’m pleased with the flavor and the benefits. I gave it a four star rating because the container is half full when you open it.

I honestly love this product. When I drink it, it helps me with fluid retention and it gives me energy. I've noticed less swelling, aches, and better digestion. The taste can be a little strong, but just add more water or juice. I like to add it to my teas, cause this product is already sweet.

Nearly half of the reviews for this product complain about the white crystals mixed in with the red powder, and I am amazed as to why the manufacturer does not respond. Here is my take on what these white crystals may be. If you look at the 'ingredients list', you will see that five ingredients are added to the beet powder. I am certain that the white crystals are likely one or more of these added ingredients, and likely are either the citric acid or the magnesium Ascorbate. At least some of the added ingredients were likely added to lower the risk of kidney stones that may be possible from the oxalate in the beet powder. All beet powders contain oxalate which, for those who are susceptible, raise the risk of kidney stones. So be thankful that this product has likely added a countermeasure.

Overall, this is a great product. I usually take this after lunch as a caffeine-free pick-me-up option. I definitely feel a boost in my energy levels. I've sampled some of the other beets powders on the market and the problem with the other choices out there is that they either taste overly fake or (for particularly the "organic" options) is that they don't taste good. What makes this Nature Fuel beets powder stand out is it TASTES GREAT and has a naturally fruity flavor to it. I'm able to just mix this with water and it actually is easy to drink because it has a naturally sweet taste to it. If you want to actually enjoy something that helps with energy and (supposedly, cant speak to this) blood circulation I would recommend this product.
