Stroops Slastix Muscle Toner with Foam Handles

I've always used alternative resistance to bands because I didn't like the feet of them, plus the possible injury in the case of breakage. This band is really well-made and convenient. It is a good place to start if you haven't been working out. If you're consistent, you'll progress to the red, but the yellow is great on days when you don't want to push too hard, or if you'd like to focus on endurance.

I initially purchased the red one (medium weight), and I had to switch to the yellow one (light weight). It wasn't that the medium weight one was bad. I just wasn't at the strength level yet. However, standing at 5'4", this is a good length for me to work out. I do get a lot of resistance from it. The product does come with some exercises, but I went on YouTube to see what kinds of exercises others do with the Stroops Slastix. The product is durable and strong. The foam handles help with grip as I do tend to get calluses on my palms. If I am completing an exercise that I find the band too long for, I just grip the handles and tie around my hand and it works just as well.

Simply the Best! I have another color that is over 4 years old and it still works and feels like new. I teach fitness classes and I would recommend these for anyone PRO or Home User to have something that will last for years. Im 6-1 and workout with weights and all of the colors and resistance work perfect to feel like you did something. Women can try Yellow to Red and go up as needed. Men can try Blue to Grey bases on what your goal is. Amazing Quality and Product!!I bought few other colors so Im going to cut/paste my review for each.

I failed to notice that Stroops came with both padded and non-padded handles. Both have nice resistance bands, but the padded handles are dramatically easier and more comfortable to hold.

Great product. Was recommended to me by my physiotherapist after treatment for a back injury. Met all expectations and is significantly more durable while providing more pull than other brands I’ve tried. I started with the medium tension and just moved my way up to ‘heavy’ after a couple of months.
