I’ve purchased this joystick replacement kit three separate times, and that alone says how well it works. It has consistently fixed joystick drift issues quickly and reliably every time. The kit is very easy to install, even if you’re not super tech-savvy. The included tools make the process straightforward, and there are plenty of tutorials online if you want extra guidance. Each replacement has worked perfectly right out of the box. I’ve successfully used this kit on both Oculus Quest 2 and Quest 3 controllers, and it’s been fully compatible with both. Once installed, the controllers feel brand new again and the drift is completely gone. If you’re dealing with joystick issues and don’t want to replace an entire controller, this kit is 100% worth it. Reliable, affordable, and effective — I’ll continue to buy it whenever I need a fix.

At first, the lack of any instructions in the package was a bit daunting until I saw that they have a video on youtube, which serves as instructions. Of course, things look deceptively simple in that video and pieces that just popped out or back in on the video did not fit so easily for me. That said, I eventually forced pieces to fit and successfully got everything back together, only to find that the controller didn't work. Pro tip: before reassembling everything, put the battery in to be sure it works. On my second round of disassembly, I found that a ribbon cable was loose, so I fixed that, tried the battery & it worked! It's all back together and looks and works good as new!

Tools worked well to disassemble the controller and the joysticks were a perfect replacement. Just make sure to look up on YouTube how to do and take your time. Both controllers now work without stick drift.

So the Philips screwdriver isn't small enough to remove some of the screws. (Luckily, I had my own tool set). Other than that, everything is working perfectly. No stick drift, no nothing. Some people are arguing about how it doesn't have the sensor, so they can't continue. The way to have the sensors work is by transferring the ones from the original controller to the new joysticks. And even if you don't have them, the controller is still usually, you just won't have sensors on the thumb sticks. Other people have been saying that once they finished, the controller was just fried. That is something that does happen if you do this thing to your controller. It's a risk that you have to take if you want to fix your controller. So make sure you don't have any static electricity on yourself and wear rubber gloves and be careful when you do it. Other than the complaints the people have been having about that, it's a good product. Takes some time to put it together but it's worth the outcome. I had stick drift for 1 and a half years and now I'm clear without any of it, feels amazing.

So as someone who is not good with tech this is a lot simpler than it seems but there are some hard parts. I'm mostly blind but if you have normal eyes and more strength than a small toddler then you'll be fine. The screws on the controller are hard to get out but after that its pretty easy. All the tools worked great and I didn't need to use anything else. It took me 3 hours from start to finish but my screws were in there really good! Good luck to you all but its definitely worth the 20 dollars! Also there is a video on YouTube for this exact kit! If you use it then it will be so much easier. Its by VR reviews.

Works perfectly, all ribbon cables attached to joystick are intact. Comes with tools! Excellent quality.

We've tried various ways of fixing of drifting. Finally...the controllers were unusable. Now my kids did get the the new oculus but I wanted to fix the old one. Got these today. Watched a video. Took the controllers apart and swapped out the thumb switches. Put them back together and recalibrate them. Works perfect. All the needed tools are included. Just take a picture of all the screws and lay them out on a drawing. I draw on paper and just push them into the paper based on location. There are 2 longer screws in the top along with two shorter than rest screws that hold the circle wrap around the controllers. Just need to be a bit mechanically inclined to do this just because of disassembly and reassembly.

I have purchased joysticks for the Nintendo switches and they have never worked. I started get bad stick drift on the oculus that you could no longer play it. I bought this kit and watched the YouTube video for replacement. Its somewhat simple and they definitely work. Im pretty darn excited that these actually work. Stick drift is gone and the controllers are like new. Good buy!

These came in a thin cardboard amazon package so I taught they could be damaged as not much protection, but when I opened it the joysticks were in a little plastic zip lock bag in a little plastic box so they were fine it took about an hour each to fix the controllers from watching a YouTube video i would recommend if you didnt want to spend money on new controllers

Great value and quality

I had my reservations at first about buying this but turned out to be a great product. You definitely need to find a video online to help you with the replacement as there are some tricky aspects to it. The tools included with this kit worked but I had other tools that came in handy too. But once I replaced the joysticks on my sons Oculus they worked great haven't had an issue yet, he was very impressed his mom could fix them. lol. Really good product at a great price.

Das Joystick Ersatz-Set für die Oculus Quest 2 ist ein wirklich hochwertiges Reparaturkit. Es enthält alles, was man für die Reparatur und den Ausbau des Controllers benötigt, inklusive passendem Werkzeug. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Anleitung im Lieferumfang hätte deutlich besser sein können. Ich musste mir ein YouTube-Video suchen, um die Reparatur erfolgreich durchzuführen. Ein Link zu einem Tutorial oder einer besseren Anleitung wäre hier hilfreich gewesen. Abgesehen davon bin ich sehr zufrieden und würde das Set definitiv weiterempfehlen.
