Pulls together a bunch of uncollected Jack stories
This is a miscellaneous set of short stories featuring the Repairman Jack series, previously available only in anthologies edited by others. They are uniformly entertaining, and author Wilson provides an introduction to each story explaining how he came to write it.

Jackpot of Jack
This collection of Repairman Jack stories spans a period of almost 20 years in Wilson's life, and each story in here is a winner with Jack doing what Jack does best: fixing problems for others. The supernatural aspects of RJ's world are present in a couple of the stories, but the focus here is on Jack being a vigilante for hire. Each of these stories was published elsewhere, and Wilson gives an introduction to each one. I only wish the collection were longer, and also that I hadn't read one of the stories after it was split up and included in one of the RJ books. This is a must for any Repairman Jack fan.

Just Jack
A short (9 stories), chronological anthology featuring fan fave Repairman Jack. Although all have been previously published, some were in some fairly obscure places. Except for (sort of) "The Last Rakosh", all the stories are just Jack taking care of things as he does best, devoid of any cosmic battle background. This is in large part because as it happens, the first 5 shorts in the anthology were all written long before 1998 when FPW brought Jack back and gave him his own series fighting against the otherness, 14 years years after his first appearance in the 1984 novel, "The Tomb" (which, incidentally, is technically a part of the Adversary Cycle/Secret History of the World, but really had very little to do with the cosmic battle that is at the heart of the Secret History, Adversary Cycle, and RJ series). So if you're looking for some hidden bits of the cosmic epic, you'll not find them here. But no worries, there's more than enough of just Jack to keep you entertained, and FP Wilson's trademark crisp writing and dry humor is much in evidence. My two favorites were "Interlude at Duane's" (as in Duane Reade) and "Piney Power", which features the young teenaged Jack of the three YA Jack novels. Recommended for all, a must for true RJ fans. Violent Noir with humor
Good time waster with a wry grin at how the hero takes on and bests the villain. Lots of wry fun. Easy read and keeps one involved.

You CanNever Have Too Much Repairman Jack
Anyone who likes Repairman Jack will like this book. It's a bit different (for me, anyway), to read RJ in the short story format, but the stories are good, as you would expect from F. Paul Wilson. Also, some of the stories present Jack in a slightly different light than what you might expect, so that was kind of interesting. The author also prefaces each story with an introduction, so you get a feel for how and why he wrote that particular story, which is a nice touch. This book makes an ideal addition to anyone's RJ collection.
