Insightful, and thoughtful read
Read this book if nothing else else but for the fact that Janak interviews (and knows) the policy makers, regulators, operational and IT leaders, and most importantly clinicians who are spearheading the application of machine learning in real world health care settings. This is ok as an overview. I was looking for more depth and detail. In general, the writing could have been better.

As a dental colleague exploring the world of AI, this was a perfect introduction for healthcare professionals and also those looking at broader systems implementation as we focus on education in AI as well as efficiencies and prognostic indicators. Also covers some of the highs and lows in recent work as well as challenges around technology and funding.

Really enjoyed the overview of certain projects/health services implementing AI (the good and bad) and goves a lot of realistic hope for the future of hethcare - would recommend to anyone wishing to learn more on this topic!

The author clearly has a lot of knowledge on the subject of AI in Healthcare, and is able to communicate his knowledge in a clear and thoughtful manner. Excellent read, very informative.

This book is mainly summaries of AI in healthcare sectors that you can easily glean from the Internet. It is relatively UK focused so not very practical for most readers. The discussions are very general without much technical background so it is not enough technical details for the clinicians to render this book a useful one. There are a few others in this domain that are far better in content and in scope.
