I wanted to try an led set to enhance my personal tv space and reduce my eye strain while playing long video game sessions. I found this nice entry level LED set for my 40 inch TV and after installing it, I believe I made the right choice of product! Installation was very quick. I suggest using an alcohol pad or a window cleaner soaked paper towel to clean the back of the TV or whatever surface you choose to put these strips on but, with moderate effort, these went on nice and easy and stuck to the surface pretty good. I didn't use tape to hold these down as someone else suggested and hopefully I won't have to do that but not I do, it's no biggie, nobody is looking at the back of the TV anyway. All the functions of the remote worked and I actually have it at mid brightness because they are pretty potent! For the price, I hope it lasts me at least 3 months or more, any longer than that and it pays itself off. These seem to be of good quality and so far everything is working as expected. They stay on for a few seconds after powering off my TV (they're plugged to the USB output of my TV) and then they shut off which I think it's great, especially if you're ok a dark room or like the car that keeps the music on after you turn the ignition off so you can keep enjoying it. Great variety of colors!!!

I purchased these lights for my 27" iMac so that I can have some extra light in the room while I am working from home. Normally the window provides sufficient natural light but when it is dark or cloudy I need more and I don't care much for overhead lighting that is too harsh. I found it very easy to affix the lights to the monitor. I did not use the corner connecters and just curved it around. It was easy to remove the backing from the strip and the strip adheres well to the monitor. I did not have a problem with the stickiness. Once you remove the small piece of plastic from the remote (which I did not notice at first), it works great. You can select variations of red, green, or blue, and of course plain white. I don't use the strobes or the fades because they distract me while I am working. I prefer the blues and purples but if it is really dark I will use the white. I used velcro to attach the remote to my monitor so I can't lose it. It is easy to switch the lights on and off with the remote. They also go off when you shut down the computer, but they did not go off when I put it to sleep. I have similar lights for backlighting on my 55" TV that have been there for years. People always tell me that it looks really cool, and it does. I think these LED lights are wonderful and I'm looking at other uses for them in my home. All you need is a strip of lights and a USB port and you're there. The shipping was super fast and the packaging was excellent. I highly recommend this product.

I can't say much about how long they'll last...but out of the box, they are pretty awesome. I'm digging the glow in my living room now and I let it fade cycle through the colors. I'm using them on a 60 inch samsung and they fit really well. The 3m backing tape holds firm. The only thing I would change would be making the is cable black to match most tv's. White sticks out a little. Update... 10/9/2018 ..... These lights are still going strong and I have had zero issues with them. I don't even think about it anymore because they are so reliable. When i turn on my TV, they turn on with it and cycle through the colors just as the day i purchased. They even make a great night light for people who don't like the dark. I would strongly recommend these lights to anyone looking to add ambiance to a room. Update... 5/15/2019.... They don't quit. I've had zero problems. The lights turn on EVERY TIME without doubt. I can't say enough good things about them but if you're on the fence on which light to get.... look no further. THESE are it! Update... 10/08/2019... Its been over two years since I bought this product. At this point, I'm fairly certain I might die before this product stops working. The glue still holds strong. The lights continue to work everytime and I can't believe I paid so little for something that had lasted so long. Update...06/13/2021... Here we are approaching the 4 year mark since I've bought these lights. I still love em and they've given me ZERO issues since the day of install. They've made it through 2 separate relocations and now a crazy pandemic to which (let's be real) my TV has seen way more screen time than past years. The glue is still holding great and I'm more worried about the TV backing coming off if we're to uninstall these now...lol. Seriously though, hats off to the company who made this wonderful product. I've sure enjoyed them and I'm sure you will too. Cheers! Update...04/12/2022... yup, they're still going. They've lasted long enough that you'd think it was sponsored by energizer. Tragedy did strike this year and I finally lost the remote (for real) but not to worry... that color fade cycle i selected oh so many years ago is still flowing like the ancient rivers of Babylon. See ya next year! Update...06/26/2024... coming up on 7 years with these bad boys and after thousands of hours on my TV, these lights still work perfectly. Honestly, not a single issue. For those wondering, I did finally find the remote when we replaced our couches only to have my two lab puppies divide it up for a mid day snack. One trip to the vet later and we're all back safe and sound watching the same TV with the same back lights on the new couches. I still can't change the effect but that same ol color fade is still rolling deep as the day it was purchased. I'm in for the long haul now. See you all in a couple years!

Order came in on January 10th. While assembling the strip on my tv, the led strip snapped off the adapter, very easily. Talked to the seller. They basically told me, ‘it’s a mistake while assembling. There is nothing we can do.’ For the 60€ price tag, I expect more quality and a better customer service. Very unfortunate.

I like the fact that the strip comes in pieces that inter connect with a corner ribbon cable. It fit absolutely perfect on my 65 inch tv. The remote works with the receiver behind the tv nicely hidden. No fancy gimmicks. The lights are bright enough. Looks great.

I ordered one for myself and one as a gift, neither worked.
