This stand is great! I do a lot of reading on my tablet. Whether I'm lying in bed, or reading a page or two during commercials while watching football, this stand is there. There's a little bit of a balancing act, especially if you're using the stand to hold a tablet and have the arm stretched out a bit. That's probably going to be the case, regardless which one of these stands you get. The alternative would be to buy a stand made of steel, it'd be very heavy and very expensive. I keep a jug filled with water on the base, and I have had no issues. This stand was something like $20 and works great. 10 out 10 would buy again. ..And may do to keep one in the bedroom, and one in the livingroom!

The stand is super flexible, height/angle can be adjusted easily and the device mount itself swivels. It's all surprisingly sturdy so once adjusted it doesn't move at all. It's light enough that it can easily be moved but the base is fairly heavy so no matter how it's adjusted it won't tip over. It works for both the Paperwhite and the Scribe. I wouldn't mind if the grip wouldn't be as strong or can be adjusted as for the Scribe it needs to be opened almost all the way and the resistance is quite high. Not really an issue as it's all padded so it doesn't scratch or damage the device. If you get this for a Kindle, do yourself a favor and get a remote as well. Match made in heaven.

Pretty decent flexibility. It has toppled over once - so now I’ve situated it in a spot so that something is on top of the base. Has eliminated my “tech neck” challenges & pain. Very glad I bought this. Well worth the expense.

It was amazing at first and I used everyday. I have it for more than half year and it got really annoying. The spring is too hard for ipad and kinda too heavy for ipad and kept falling. If I tighten all, it is hard to adjust the angle.

Alright guys. My husband has supported my dark romance addiction and bought me a list of items including the kindle Paperwhite in pink . However , this plus the page turn remote equals bed rot Sundays. Best investment ever . You are able to adjust the height and length to your liking and also fits under the couch with a sleek base . It was super easy to put together and I'm able to easily carry it down the stairs. It's also very stat and does not move at all .

Really sturdy and great if you get wrist pain from holding a kindle or switch for too long. I use mine for reading on my kindle paperwhite and playing the switch in bed. It's so easy to move to a new position but not flimsy. I wish I had bought this sooner instead of struggling for so long :)
