This is a great addition to a Sonos Soundbar. It converts Analogue to digital. The input is

I use one for a computer, one for a radio as an alarm. Phono to Phono on radio setup, Phone to aux on computer, then Optical into soundbar. Originally bought as I was planning a pair of active speakers for the computer, there was some disagreement in the reviews of how good the analogue inputs were. So I opted for this and did the same with the other setup, analogue can get hissy on soundbars. It WOULD be nice if computers had Optical / Coax audio output, until then THIS does the trick quite well. I refused to pay for than double for a tuner with optical, so again cheper to use this. You see people refer to DAC, often they mean ADC like this. Volume wise, it is loud - a lot louder than a direct analogue link up, nice as it uses little power to clean up the signal - no distortion, standard EQ modes on soundbar work fine. I LOVE devices like this - plug, play, no worries.

Works perfectly connecting my record player to soundbar

Brought as an interface between my Keyboard and soundbar, unfortunately there is a slight delay between the keys and the sound. Enough for me to notice and to put me off. Should have done more research 1st on this type of connection. Probably fine for other situations though

I was finding it difficult to get a audio converter that works this way round. I've bought 2 of these. One for connecting a CD player to a DAC and the other for connecting a Focusrite Scarlett to another DAC. Both do a great job of giving me the sound I want. CD player uses RCA phono connections into the convertor and has optical out. Focusrite Scarlett is RCA phono into the convertor and coaxial out. I'm very happy with the results I am getting with these convertors.

Worked first time, I needed to convert a 3.5mm aux analogue signal to digital coaxial (orange connector) as my soundbar HiSense HS214 was too aggressive in cutting analogue noise which resulted in intermittent audio cutting out if the volume was too low, this didn’t happen with digital signals so I needed to use the other digital coax port, I plugged this in and it worked first time, stable digital audio signal

Very good quality product. It works as it should be. I had tested and no issue found. It converts analogue signal to optical toslink output. Fast dispatch, delivery and good communication with the seller.

Come da titolo. Quando si comprano articoli cosí economici, non ci si puó aspettare di certo miracoli ed in molti casi la qualitá é proprio scadente (come il convertitore DA in alto a destra nella FOTO, sopra al AD in questione, suona malisssimo, mancano frequenze, un dispetto per le mie orecchie esperte e costa uguale). PRO: In questo caso peró, suona veramente bene, a orecchio non sento differenze sostanziali se confrontato con strumenti che costano molto di piú e senza palese colorazione del suono. Bene la doppia connessione in entrata RCA e AUX stereo, ho collegato due sorgenti cosí. Bene anche l' uscita convertita in parallelo sia ottica che s/pdif. Involucro solido in metallo. Ottimo prezzo. CONTRO: alimentazione con formato micro USB. Siamo nel 2024 e non capisco come sia possible che questo formato venga ancora utilizzato, visto che ormai si sa, é troppo fragile, diventa instabile con l'uso e non dura nel tempo. L'involucro non é un cubo perfettamente piatto, la parte superiore é tondeggiante e offre una base di appoggio limitata per eventuali altri accessori, come Nella FOTO. Quando il design non va di pari passo con la praticitá, che é piú importante. Non mi sento di levare una stella. La cosa piú importante e sorpendente é il suono e questo piccolo mostro, direi che spacca. Sono sicuro che fatta un'analisi tecnica approfondita le differenze si trovano, ma non é questo il punto di base fondamentale. Il punto é: per quello che costa suona benissimo. Collegato ad un convertitore s/pdif to USB C diventa una sound card portatile mini bomba come registratore (non per ascoltare!), sia sul telefono che sul PC. Consiglio vivamente la casa produttrice di offrire una versione PRO che includa l' uscita per il trasferimento del segnale audio tramite USB C, per il collegamento a PC/Smart Phone/Tablet. Carina sarebbe una versione che includa anche il DA, sia digitale+usb, che analogico. Saluti Consiglio e non escludo di comprarne un altro se il prezzo rimane onesto e se magari appiattiscono l'involucro :)

Después de tiempo buscando encontré lo que necesitaba. Funciona con muy buena calidad y sin interferencias. Cable óptico incluido.
