Works as advertised. I use it on all my cars not just my Audi Q7. Read codes, erase codes, etc.

Scanner works great. Easily registered a new battery in a 2017 VW Golf. Clearing all the error codes that appeared after disconnecting the old battery and reconnecting the new one was quick and straightforward. So far, I'm very happy with the purchase.

For the price it is good but with newer mdels featurig more bidirectional cobntrol in the same price range it would be better. For VW brake job worked well.

This tool saved me from buying a new car. I have a 2007 Audi A3 with 240K miles on it. Yes, 240K miles! I was ready to pull the trigger when I thought I'd try this first and see what faults I can find. This tiny and mighty scanner was able to find faults I never knew my car had that my old scanner would not detect. Faults that does not throw a CEL are stored on my car and was able to diagnose, fixed and clear it all. What really saved me is the throttle relearn feature. I thought my transmission went bad, but all i really needed was a throttle relearn. My car now drives great and gears are shifting so smoothly. I don't remember my car ever drove this good. Now I am kicking myself in the butt for not getting this tool sooner. User interface on the app is good but could be improved specially when customizing the dashboard. The app will give you a lot of useful information when diagnosing your car. Very powerful tool!

Bought it to release the parking brake on 2018 VW Tiguan to replace the rear pads and rotors. Very user friendly with the included instructions. Also bought it to register a new battery in the future.

Connected immediately to my 2017 Audi RS7. After some searching, I was able to clear the troublesome "Inspection Due" light and read / clear all codes. The dealership wanted $700 to do this with simple filter changes. The local independent shop wanted $126.00. No brainer. Now I have this tool for whenever I do my own brakes and change my own battery, both very expensive if the dealer does it.

I purchased this item so I could read live transmission temperature data on my Audi A5. In order to change the transmission fluid, you have to top it off at a certain temperature. The Ancel VD700 was perfect for the job! Customer service was very helpful in helping me get to the correct menu. Thanks!

1-8-2026 Update: Ancel contacted me and gave me a full refund. While this unit was not compatible with my car, their customer service is excellent. Limited functions and inaccurate reporting of codes which did not correlate with the VW dealer scan. While it has a battery test, it does not allow for battery registration when replacing your battery. Also, when using the app, you are unable to review past scan reports unless the device is connected to the vehicle. This is an issue when trying to do research on reported codes. As my return window has closed, I am hoping that future software updates to the app will better the product.

Deze ANCEL BD500 OBD2 doet waar hij voor gemaakt is. Zeer handig in gebruik en geen gedoe met kabels of dergelijke. De adapter in de poort inpluggen installeer de app op u smartphone en maak verbinding met u Bluetooth op de smartphone en klaar scan nu wat je maar wil. Hij werkt zeer snel hij ondersteund VW/Audi/Skoda/Seat maar ook andere merken. Al geven ze wel mee dat het kan zijn dat bij andere merken kan zijn dat bepaalde functies niet aanwezig zijn.

I bought this one specifically for scanning 1979 vw transmission, where my mechanics very expensive unit would cut it. The problem on my vw rialta was identified as a loss of comms, after working on the electronic trans controller, comms intact we could now see trans fault codes. So this unit gets a big thumbs up from me, where all the rest failed, my only mistake was giving it away with camper when sold, should have kept scanner.

J'ai pas mal tourné pour choisir un outil. A la base mon besoin était de reprogrammer les info pour un changement de batterie (dans le groupe VW, les info de batterie doivent être reprogrammées lors d'un chnagement pour que le BMS puisse prendre en compte ce changement dans sa stratégie de pilotage de la charge et du start and stop). L'outil est très pratique, marche bien et est "assez instinctif". Il faut de toute manière être assez au courant des architectures modernes véhicule pour savoir ce que l'on fait mais tout se passe bien. Je confirme par la même que cette outil permet la reprog des info batterie sur une seat leon 5F de 2019 ainsi que l'éffacement des codes d'erreur présent le cas échéant.

Ne fonctionne pas du tout... Lit jusqu'à l'étape 10/18 et reste là pendant une heure sans avancer... Chinoiserie à ne pas acheter. Perte d'argent
