See your surroundings on a rainy day! I bought for a trip where rain was expected (Ireland), and was worried that the plastic would get damaged during travel. It held up perfectly.

This umbrella is well made and perfect for use when dressed up. It’s wind resistant, water proof. Good price.

I got this umbrella for two reasons: 1. I am a commuter in a large city where automobiles try to run over pedestrians on a daily basis. It also rains a lot where I live, and umbrellas were taking away from my visibility to avoid the aforementioned cars. This helps me cross the street and still be able to see and stay dry. The second reason I got this was we were going on a trip where it rains a lot and I didn't want my view impeded by an umbrella. I looked at every clear umbrella there was -- and was amazed that they seemed more expensive than a regular umbrella. I ended up buying two different brands. The Totes one is better in quality and design than the other off brand. The size is perfect for one person, and two really could fit...if you felt like sharing your space. I found it easy to close/open and use the strap to wrap it up when done. My only complaint is that the top of the umbrella, where the spines are, started to rust or leave some sort of brownish/reddish stain where the hinges of the spines come together. It doesn't impede my view as it is the very top...but it makes it look dirty. I am not sure why it did that. We were in a very rainy area and the umbrella was used for multiple days in a row. Perhaps it didn't get enough time to dry out between uses.

easy to open and a good size

I bought these for a trip to Seattle knowing that it rains a lot there. They came in quite handy at the Space Needle and other sights around Seattle. Keep in mind that these are made of plastic, which is the only way you can get them to be clear, so I’m not sure if they will last as long as the other types of umbrellas made out of parachute type material, but they are not designed for that. These are made so you can see sights while keeping your umbrella up. Easy to open and close. They seem to be very well made and I’m confident that they will last a long time. I would definitely recommend them!

Nice, and folds up fine to the wind. It opens easily, but closing takes a little effort. I was happy with the size which it good for 1 person and a bag, and folds down to a nice size, to fit in the umbrella holder in my bag. The problem, I see the metal frame at 1 point is rusting. I aways leave it open to dry, once I get to work and at home. So, seeing rust isn’t very nice. For now, it’s working.

It’s well-made. The structure seems sturdy. The arms should not bend in windy conditions. Even the fastener is easy to pull without worrying about tearing it. The size is compact. I could fit it in a medium large purse.

Nice quality plastic canopy, unfolds & folds smoothly with enough resistance to let you know it shut fully. Handle strap is good & functional and secures nicely. Overall a good product that works as intended.

Bought a long umbrella of this brand and found it good so I bought this but it’s disappointing . Cannot block rain and umbrella dun come with cover . It’s time encountered .
