Philips SHS390 On-Ear Stereo Headphones (Black)

It looks like Philips took all of the details into account when designing this headset. The ear cushions are angled outwards so they don't put pressure on the upper part of your ears. This means you can wear glasses without your ears getting sore. The sound quality is excellent (for this price/type of headphones). The bass could be pumped up, but they are still superior to the other brands I tried out. They are also very light weight, making them easy to wear for long periods of time.

I don't recall if the description contained the headphone material but it is foam. Fit nicely, similar to other behind the neck pairs I have had and I always love Philips sound quality in headphones and of course these don't disappoint.

I used my other pair for so long, they were falling apart. It was a no brainer for me to stick with the brand and the style. I don't like ear buds and I can't stand to have my head squeezed by big headphones. These have always been comfortable and have worked well.

These did not fit my head or ears at all, and they did not obscure even quiet music from being heard by the person next to me. Granted, I have very small ears, but I have no idea how the manufacturer of these thinks human beings' heads are shaped, or how long their necks are. I sent mine back.

Sound is good and they stay in place while working out. I wish the cord were fabric instead of plastic, but despite that, this was a good purchase.

First of all thanks to amazon for delevering this product in 24 hrs..was seriously impressed by that..regarding people confused about wether this headphone will support various phones well i tried it on my micromax it did not support and the sound quality was really poor so in my view people using phones like karbonn and micromax dont go for this one..it might work well in samsung and nokia and some other brands..but to get full performance of this headphone i recommend to use it with pc or laptops. i use it for my pc and for 300 bucks i would say these are best pair of headphones. the sound is crystal clear and it has got good detailing in sound..the bass is not too much boom boom type but its clear and atleast good enough for me. the voice does not distort at any point be it higher vocals or medium or low..and these headphones are really comfortable to wear for long hrs as i didnt face any discomfort in watching 2-3 hrs movie..and many people have said the wire is thin i think its because the headphone is so light itself that it wont feel cheap as the build quality is good enough for the price.overall i would say these are best pair of headphones for the price they come at. i would say even better then sony mdr zx100 that i owned before this which was double the price of this..so people with tight budget or people who dont want to spend a lot on headphones and want headphones for pc, laptop or samsung like brand phones go for this without thinking much..hope this review helps..:)

If you are looking for an ultra cheap headphones under Rs.350 , Then this is the excellent choice. Philips is known for its excellent products and their products give excellent performance. I bought this product for Rs,280. Thank You amazon for that.But the shipping was constantly delayed due to festivals. PROS:- 1.RICH BASS - This will make you love EDM,Dubstep and Trap Songs.Dont worry you are gonna love every song. 2.Clarity - Clarity is fair but what can you expect for a headphone selling under Rs.350 3.Quality - This might shock you a little. The quality of wires are not upto the mark as they are little weak.The Neckband and the Cushion pads are strong enough to go for 1-2 years if you use it roughly. CONS:- 1.Pain - There will be pain in your outer part of you ears if you use it constantly . 2,Sound comes out if you use it on High Volume. 3.Poor Noise Isolation(Google it if you dont know what it is!) The Pros and cons are justified for a headphone which is comming at an ultra cheap price. And one thing,This Neckband is better than SONY which is selling at Rs.500-550. GO FOR IT!

Hey Guys, Well Well Well! Have compared the picture and the actual received after almost a week. It is not the same which is shows in the picture. The speakers in the picture looks round in shape and received is egg shaped. The brand name is written in black color but received has grey color. This is a duplicate model being sold on Amazon.in First order from Amazon.in but had to contact the Cx support for 3 times for the delivery. First thing I like Philips products because they really produce quality products and are durable. My expectations on this neckband was little high but it could not reach my expectation. The reason I gave 3 stars is the NB(Neckband) to be little more bigger in size in fact it is small. And........................ Design: * It's a pretty simple design Philips has made. However, it fits the ears not firmly as I am losing Bass and when I am holding the speakers I get great sound with nice bass. * Still, it's a stylish neck band and it is not as thick as it looks on the website. * Volume adjustment could have been given so that instead reaching the device all the time to adjust volume we can adjust it through a volume adjuster on the NB itself. * It started giving me little paid on the right ear as the material used for band it not that user friendly. Sound: * It got pretty good sound output and feels like listening on a high stuff headphone. * However, the negative point on this is, it feels little noisy when try to listen music in full volume. * It's really good when listening to any music on a medium level volume. Overall, I am not completely satisfied with this product and I may recommend people to purchase as it's not a bad product. Thanks Amazon and Philips.

These headphones are just love. You can put them on your ears and they are remarkably weightless. You might even forget that they're on your ears. The foam is very soft on the ears too. Just gentle pieces of sound boxes. And given their price, they are quite durable also. Personally, I don't like earphones as they keep coming off my ears. So that's another reason I prefer these more as I can forget about them coming off as they just sit gently on top of the ears. Let me share an incident- My friend also had these same headphones. He would often put them on for watching some movie, on his bed with some pillow as a head cushion. And so it happened that he would even go to sleep with them still on his ears. Next day he would wake up and realize that he had forgotten to take them off. And they were just the same, unscathed. Next day he would do the same and the story goes on. Point is they are just very soft and easy on the ears and at the same time, durable. I admit they do not have that bassy sound, the 'Oonce' produced by other headphones like JBL/Sennheizer and such. But they have good enough sound for normal music lovers with good clarity. And for the price of 349/- I'm not sure you could get any better. Over the period of past 4-5 years, I've bought them twice so far, and on both occasions they went bad mainly because I had over used them and eventually I would over stretch the cable by pulling it hard off the laptop socket (I should take more care), making the cable dis-functional. I'm sure it would happen with just about every other Headphone cable. I'm buying this for the 3rd time now as it suits my liking. :)
